So if he didn't talk about speaking in tongues, he wouldn't be wrong elsewhere? Is any preacher regardless of his beliefs on speaking in tongues fully perfect in his theology? Everybody's theology is a little weird somewhere and it's arrogant to think that someone has it all figured out.
It is very tragic when men discard the Bible to follow and promote blindly the real heresies like cessationism. Do your homework, study books like Charismata in the Early Church which documents the gifts of the Holy Spirit, or you could just study the Apostle Paul's letters (I Corinthians, Ephesians 4 and the book of Acts written by Luke if you believe they are inspired. 'Despise not prophesying', forbid not speaking in tongues', JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.
@cantonesechowmein "It's very tragic", when men babbling away think they are speaking by the Holy Ghost. The fact is that it is usually stupid women who are usually deceived because they don't read or understand the real and only word of God. 90% of all TV charismatic donations are from stupid women who think they are being spiritual when practicing these doctrines of demons. If you believe you have the gift of tongues (just like everyone in the charismatic crowd), you're deceived. Simple!
@levileckenby I don't forbid anything, especially tongues, but there's no place for nonsensical babble that absolutely no one understands being spouted as a gift of the Holy Spirit. Someone repeatedly barking a few syllables over and over again is not biblical glossolalia but a charade of the demented taught by the ignorant.
@MandoMohan If they're barking something is clearly wrong - tongues should be interpreted unless it's spoken quietly for self-edification. Tongues is another language - and so it will always sound like babbling unless you've got the gift of interpretation. When people start barking or roaring and making animal sounds it may be a demon manifesting that should be driven out (maybe an animal spirit - common in africa) or just their flesh. God used it to punish Nebuchadnezzar.
@levileckenby There is no doubting a real miracle. You, though, are just explaining away the mundane. What you call tongues is a great big yawn. No miracle just the same old psycho-babble exhibited in Ashrams, Covens and in the biggest occult of them all, the Roman Catholic club..
Those who practice tongues are usually stupid, too, of low IQ and have no strength of discipline or character. They are usually pretend Christians, those who look for signs. A wicked generation.
@MandoMohan tongues is a gift from God. People who use the gifts God has given them are not stupid. Of course there are counterfeits, but a generation that seeks to "Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy." 1 Cor 14:1 is not a wicked one, but an obedient one. There may be other areas of someone's life that is not in alignment with the word of God, but desiring to speak in tongues, and any other gift, and operating in those gifts is good & right
I guess we better cut that section about tongues out of our bibles.

Sad to hear this man promote the babble called 'speaking in tongues'. @ 4:05.
When a preacher promotes this heresy he's usually wrong elsewhere.

@MandoMohan Do you believe the bible is the inspired word of Jesus? "do not forbid to speak with tongues" 1 Cor 14:39.
