Again, my takikomi gohan recipe suggested on the side ^^ I did a version adapted for canada and US with ingredients that people can all find at any grocery store. I think it turned out pretty good, it has a good amount of views by now!
@PlatypusGuitar I would suggest to add chicken or beef soup cube/powder to make it more tasty if you are not vegetarian since your recipe doesn't have chicken or any meat/fish. However, it's very nice to see non-Japanese people making Japanese food! Cheers! or kanpai!
@cupcakehuh Thanks! This is easy and you can use dashi powder or chicken soup cube make it taste richier if you want. If you can get Abura age (thin fried tofu), you can add them too. I just made it very simple so that everybody can make.
i really like how you add a bit of the background information about the dish in the beginning of the video, keep up the good work!! =)

EZGlutenFree 2 months ago
@EZGlutenFree It's very easy and you can improvise yourself too! Many people say kombu is very healthy too.

Hrm. I'm out of chicken. I'll try this with pork and extra veggies! I have some Konbu Kelp leftover that will be perfect!

@bgctrinity That's great! Pork, beef, fish, anything should work really. Cooking is all about improvisation.
