  • Your comments about the tempo do nothing but show that you're an arrogant prick to be honest!

  • well kids this trance dj whatever he just played reminded me of these times the kids might not be Doomed.

  • this is clasica

  • awesome song here wow cool indeed

  • made in leeds just like me! my dad knows this guy!

  • love it!!

  • EXCELLENT!!!!

  • Plus out of all the tunes I have no matter what genre this still has the deepest bass. Must've destroyed a few inadequate bassbins back in the day!

  • This changed my life when I was 14! I remember Steve Wright begrudgingly playing this on Radio 1 and putting loads of bird noises and FX on top and then stopping it saying it simply wasn't music. History has proved the cunt wrong...

  • @TheGeraldemerald steve wright looks like a nonce.

  • La référence électro du début des années 90

  • Bass in your face, dis was a Tunnee and still rocks and is solid ..

  • 21 people think its too fast xD

  • WARP & LFO <3

  • to fast

  • nice tempo!!!!

  • DJ ing dayz!!!!!

  • remember hearing this on a 100K rig back in the day - unbelievable tune - mysterious and beautiful...nuff said!

  • Ah, the tune that could destroy speakers.

  • this is techno kult ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  • Pure UK classic, the bass just ills through yer body, don't make em like they used to.

  • Old Tunes, Just Pure Class. LFO

  • L F O great tune reminds of the days whilst listening to Fantasy FM, DJ Hype

  • Check out the original video (and audio at a more leisurely pace!) on my page.

  • yea its playn a wee bit faster all good tho!

  • speed up = good :-) regular pace equals winebar heroin overdose.

  • sounds good to me.

  • fuck me! im listening to this track after 20 yrs and it still sounds the tits..and im not drug indused....would love a snowball though...wow...lol

  • too fast

  • Pepperbox hill, Salisbury, England. Disco biscuits, around a fire, decks, beautiful. Wandering around finding yourself in a bush, going back to the car poppers, wow, hoggin the whole bottle to me and Katy. Waking up and a mahuosive crop circle had been formed. m xxx

  • massive UK track ...

aside: LFO = Low Frequency Oscillation

  • massive UK track

  • um this is NOT lyte funkie ones! More like Low Frequency Oscillations!!

  • This track shows off the depth of my and many of my tru friends daily vocabulary, about this time, wicked stuff man, think my love for drum n bass came outta listening to tracks like this beaut.

  • this track builds an incredible atmosphere.... a dark dream

  • 135? Sounds bloody brilliant to me. Would sound fat on a UK Funky/2step set or something, that's coming from a full on house DJ. I'd take it down 10bpm or so of course. [RAVE]!

  • Kawai K1 my first SYNTH! :-) Geil!

  • its too fast on this

  • @muttoncuffs This is the first print version of it. The later ones were slower.

  • my system test tune love it too fast tho was never this quick on the 12"

  • low frequency oscillations

  • @LittleBabyBum

Almost correct. It actually stands for low frequency oscillator. A part of synthesizers that can modulate a basic sound tone with for example a cutoff filter.

  • @killer4hire its low frequency occillationn m8............

  • @ivenohope

Common sense, discogs and wikipedia say it's low frequency oscillator m8.

  • wat is het lang geleden dat ik deze nummer heb gehoord.

  • love it :) one of my fave and best rave tunes ever!

  • In the clubs it used to be this tempo, but my vinyl is deffo slower

  • tempo is not correct. I have this on vinyl.

  • @mediataide00com

That's true, I have it on vinyl too & pitch is too high here...

  • Na

tempo is slightly too Quick. For a comparison you can play the 12" version on "Now Dance 903" which will give the true speed. 'Kin' quality old skool tune whatever speed!

  • low frequency output.....

    i gots this record!!

  • NICE TEMPO!

I was born then and remember my mate testing his new speakers with this track. AWESOME

Doesn't matter how old you are

When and where you were when you heard it

A great track is always a great track! and does stuff to you that nothing else can do

  • wheres abercrombie & fitch?

  • Yeah it's too fast.

  • its all gone pete tong mate

  • @timrawproductions The pitch is fucked - deny it.

No, thought not. Now do be quiet, there's a good chap. :)

  • innit

  • I cant believe this lads. Back when I was 11, back in 2004, I went into a record shop in Soho, London with my parents and picked up a quirky looking techno album ( I was into techno, trance, dnb at a young age, but people thought it was rubbish LOL). Anyways yesterday I was playing a song on a Best of Euphoria by Altern8 called....LFO by LFO and guess what!!! That old techno album I got when I was 11 was actually the album FREAK by LFO !?!?! Talk about going full circle :D im 19 now.

  • if it was not for tunes like this you would not have your dnb. jungle. dubstep.. need i go on . take's me back though.. labrinth tune ...lol

  • I don't care, as long as it's being played, the bass is monumental. Prodigy anyone xxx

  • I first heard this tune on a beautifully sunny summer's day in 1990. Me and my friends were pre-club drinking in a beer garden at lovely pub. unbelievably they had a huge PA rig in this gorgeous garden pumping out tune after tune. the bass on this LFO was just unreal. it blew me away. We heard it that night in the club and it blew me away again. I actually heard it in Fabric a few years ago and it once again blew me away. It's raw and pure dance music. It's as simple as that. it still moves me!

  • Those were the daze when we used to fly lIke a WHITE DOVE.

  • Bassline.....bass.....fuckin'.....line

  • oh yesssss Low Frequency Oscilation summer of 1992 was priceless

  • Way too fast. Just shows that they weren't there.

  • My 1st vinal hardore purchase, shame I was sh1t at mixing :o)

  • I like the speed, and this was the real deal.

  • i have hear on radio many years ago seems too repetitive. but nice

  • sound resonates more at a slower speed. so ur actually missin some of the sounds by rushin thru it.

    tune tho

  • i smell weed and deodorant when i hear this

  • Reminds me of... Well I dunno, man it's like o_O Gooood!!! :D

  • got this in my box in the loft.....good times!!

  • Still too fast. Enjoy your ridiculously overpitched record.

  • @hombrerelents Or maybe you're just too slow, man.

  • I like it pitched up :P

  • Absolute bleep generation classic

  • ...!!!...

  • Its not off its just not the leeds warehouse mix, (more popular in the day in comparison), either way this is the best shit

  • Toooo fast, you nerd !

  • serious this is not the correct speed

    gooooood times tho

  • This is the correct tempo - trust me - we used to stomp to this every weekend ;)

  • @thatglenn It's not the temp on the LP.

  • @thatglenn Na Not correct tempo maybe if ur a 90's acid club speed freak but not as it was ment to be! original 12" version was slightly slower as stated in my other message the origional version at proper speed you can find on 'NOW Dance 903!'

  • lol...It may of been releasted to the masses in 1990 but I hear this at the end of 89!

  • u tell them fkaz what speed ya like it at... any slower i probably wouldnt even like it..

  • A huuuge tune from WARP (Sheffield). It was massive in all the techno rave clubs at the time (Jive Turkey, Techno City). I used to go into WARP Record shop and buy all my records at the time ;-)

  • this was in the charts man back in the day ... pure music .. shit u get nowa days aint got no presence like this shit !!!

  • slow it dooowwwwn....

  • @mskmarcus1 yea bit to fast !!

  • remember this on centreforce fm (london) used to play with tricky disco (rip lee) and dirty cash, nightmares on wax, renegade soundwvae etc, thames barrier arms oooooooooooo

  • Love to race my ride with this...

  • lUVVING THIS..

  • i used to love getting drugged up.... thems were the days

  • I was there when there when techno was born in the early 90's. In Limelight, this blow everyones mind at the time. You didn't even have to be on anything....Just awsome music and dance.

  • very nice!

  • i ended up there too m8 ! they looked kike f*****g "5"

  • Too good to even write a comment abou......

  • As well as fucking up a lot of speakers it also fucked off one of my neighbours =)

  • LFO have never been the same since Summer Girls.

  • remember this one at palace nite klub last track light show!!!

  • Easily one of THE BEST tracks from the 90's

  • ive listened\to this track since i was 9yrs old, and 20yrs later drowning in s sea of shite music, this tune still holds its ground :)

  • I'm not going to lie and say "Oh, I remember these days". I wasn't born yet. But so help me god this music is the only thing that keeps me from blowing up every major record label. Don't mind me, I'm angry because when I typed in LFO a song called "Summer Girls" showed up. I clicked it and my heart broke. A boy band from the 90s. Fuck. I'm just glad to be here now. I was in such a dark place 5 minutes ago.

  • @TheRiotousMind You and me both brohan

  • @TheRiotousMind spot on!

  • @TheRiotousMind that is the fiunniset thing i have ever read. mongoed mate, the mchat setting in and i feel a gurn coming on. Top rage

  • @TheRiotousMind Sooo adorable. My daughter wasn't born either but now we listen to similar stuff. Glad you got your groove back!

  • @amcclinton I wish you were my dad! haha

  • @TheRiotousMind

don't feel too bad. .... at least every time you go to the used CD store you don't keep seeing that lousy boy band pop up instead of the ACTUAL LFO.......

  • @TheRiotousMind we gotta get a time machine. raves arent the same anymore. good electronic music is so underground right now i cant find a good sceen. im sick of all the pop music remixes. soon raves will sound just like the pop top 40 radio. f!@ck u pop music u ruined raves there just concerts now except everyones rollin instead of drunk. This happens to every genre once it escapes from the underground and there is money to be made it gets sold out to the masses for the money. look at hiphop

  • Respond to this video... nice tempo

  • Big shout going out to the old school crew in the main room

  • speak and spell?

  • @casadivetro low frequency oscillator

  • i think the warehouse mix did play a little quicker than others?????????

you should try it flat out at 33rpm on mushrooms!

  • This is being played at the wrong speed, too fast.

  • @octagon79 yeh this is fast as fuck, and the audio quality is poor.

  • @octagon79 eat shit and die. i hate everyone. AAAARRGGGHHH!!!! big up the post narcissistic crew. Burn it all down, fuck the corporate robots right up their big fat hairy fifty pound note lined buckets that were once their arseholes. Fuck it, lets go rob JD's. innit.

  • @octagon79 I agree, it is a little too fast according to my 7" vinyl, but i still like it

  • @octagon79 It's a beat it can be played at any tempo

  • @octagon79 right speed

  • @octagon79 this is slow compared to the speed LFO played it at at Bestival !

  • @octagon79 innnit mate

  • @octagon79 The correct speed for techno according to ISO 17201-5:2010 is +8.

  • Quadrant Park, Liverpool, a club which kicked earth's butt knocked this out regularly. Great track, thank you Leeds! More evidence the mancs were and always have been a bunch of fakes. lol

  • Fuck David Guetta. THIS is House!

  • @Oxix999 this is techno dude....

  • this fucked alot of speakers up back in the day, kick as tune...

  • 45rpm? ok!

  • oraies epoxes....

  • FUCKING TUNE!

  • Sounds faster than I remember.

  • Sick tune. Simple as. Jeez, I feel old ;)

  • This is sped up, the original track is slower than this one. :)

  • @CypherTheIncredible : I second that.

  • @MrTmsgsn Kinda ruins the strong sub bass part, but its still ok. This ch00n is a speaker blower indeed.

  • Is there still such a thing as mdma?

  • @stealth1692 Hook me up!

  • I think im gonna take a few E's, just like in the day1!!!

  • perhaps the uploader adjusted the pitch control to keep it from getting flagged. Also @barakaObama2012, tempo does describe BPM, but adjusting the "pitch control" on a turntable directly affects both the pitch and tempo, unless it's a digital turntable with key correction.

  • Cant anyone put this classic track on, on the right speed...fuck.you are all too fast.
