  • My mom bought too many eggs on her last grocery order and I have frozen pie crust from some time ago, time to make some quiche!

Last time I made ham and cheese, this time I will probably make one with pepper and onion and cheese. it fits, not much of a theme but oh well

  • Hi! How are you? I hope all is going great! Thank you for watching and commenting! A quiche is a great way to use up extra eggs! A ham and cheese quiche is really delicious! Great thing about this recipe is that you can throw in all kinds of your favorite ingredients. I even made a pizza themed quiche with pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and subbed mozarella chz for cheddar! Really yummy! Have a beautiful day! Hugs...

  • ps... i use fresh broccoli and fresh mushrooms.

and tons of onion. and top with nutmeg.

and garlic. ya, gotta have garlic. lol, where is mah beer?

  • Hi rufflesworld! How are you? Thank you much for watching and posting! I like the sound of your quiche! Fresh broccoli, mushrooms, onion, nutmeg, garlic! Yummy! Hope you can try my recipe. Have a beautiful weekend! Hugs...

  • i do this... except my crust is always soggy and yucky the next day, after refrigeration. just the bottom of crust. i think i use too many eggs.. 6. plus cream

i will give it a shot... following your instructions.

  • That looks so good!! You make the best recipes!!! My husband loves Quiche ...I will have to try it!

  • I order quiche frequently at one of the cafe/restaurants that I like to peruse and always assumed that it was a lot harder to make. You made it look easy. Your hair is looking pretty wild by the way. Did you become a wild biker chick Amy? = )

    - Paul Seveng

  • LOL Paul! How are you? You can definitely make a quiche. It's really quite easy! :-) Did you like my 'do? I'm trying to look like one of those scary wild women you talked about in your earlier video, HA HA HA!!! ;-) Have a beautiful weekend sweetie! Hugs..

  • I'm glad that you have a good sense of humor and can laugh at my sometimes sarcastic comments although not everyone was laughing since I got two thumbs down on it. I'm just messing with you = )

  • Ha ha ha! You crack me up Paul! I gave ya a thumbs up... now you've just got one negative at the moment, LOL. Too funny!

  • Some of your admirers are probably just jealous that we get along so well. The weather is beautiful and I'm going to go hang out at a cafe downtown for a few hours. Have a great week Amy = )

  • Amy, That sounds like a very good Quiche that our friend Orin requested. I have also had spinach instead of broccoli. You are so amazing! Love ya!!

    5*****!!

    Eddie.

  • Dear Eddie! :-) How are you? Thank you for watching. Orin had a great request! I almost used spinach, but decided to make it with broccoli for a change. Thank you for the sweet comments. Love ya back! :-)

  • Hi Amy... Never tried quiche before. Always thought it was going to be too hard to make. Maybe one day soon I will attempt it. Looks easy enough... we'll see? Wish me luck eh? LOL

    Bonnie

  • Bonnie! How are you sweetie? I have complete faith in you! You can definitely make this quiche! :-) It's very easy and yummy! Hope all is well with you and yours! Talk to you soon! Hugs...

  • i made the quiche with out the crust omg it was sooo good thank you amy ps i add spinach and crumble turkey pepperoni on top thanks again

  • Thank you so much for letting me know! This is wonderful! Many times I don't have a pre-made crust on hand, so it's great to know this works without it! Spinach and crumbled turkey pepperoni? Yummy! I'm getting hungry! Have a most beautiful weekend and thank you again for posting! Hugs...

  • can i make this quiche with out a crust i would like to make this today

  • Hi Connie! How are you? I've never tried this particular recipe without the crust. However, I think it will still work. Just take your pie dish/pan and spray it with non-stick cooking spray first. Then add the mixture. Let me know how it turns out for you! Have a wonderful day! Hugs...

  • Great video Amy!

I love how your recipes are so easy! Can't wait to see your next one!

    Kate from FTDM

  • Hi Amy, I love this. I am famous. =^) I want to make this w/ spinach and turkey sausage. Thanks so much, my friend. I think that this video is a great addition. But I am biased. =^)

    Orin (I requested the recipe)

  • Hey Orin! Thank you so much for requesting the quiche! It was so good! We ate it up that night... no leftovers! Spinach and sausage would be great! You can really mix things up with this recipe! Next time, I'm going to sub Mozarella chez for the cheddar and add turkey pepperoni, mushrooms and green pepper! :-) Yummy! Hope all is well! Big hugs to you and Teri!!!

  • LOL... Duane you crack me up! Soooo funny! Orin's recipe doesn't have the fake nail...hmmmm... I knew something was missing, LOL. Orin, watch out! Duane may take your bananas! ha ha ha! Hugs to you!

  • I will have to make that. Can you also use shredded hash brown in the recipe??

  • Hi! Thank you so much for watching! I've never tried it, but I think you can add shredded hash brown. I've even seen some people line a pie dish with shredded hash browns drizzled with butter and sprinkled with seasoning salt and baked for about 20 mins instead of using a pastry pie shell. That could be an interesting twist to this recipe! I might have to try that! :-) Thank you for the idea!!! Have a wonderful day! Hugs..

  • I haven't made quiche in so long. Thanks for reminding me how easy and tasty it is...

  • Hi! How have you been? I hope all is well! This is such an easy and versatile recipe! We ate it all up the first night! No leftovers! :-) Have a most beautiful day! Hugs....

  • Yummy!! And I can just hear my daughter now... "Mushrooms?! Mom......." Ha ha! I try to sneak mushrooms in quite often, but she always finds them! LOL Really she's not a picky eater tho.

    Great vid!! Keep 'em comin'!

  • Hi Lauren! How are you? Your daughter doesn't like mushrooms huh? This version has pretty many of them. You could leave them out and it will still be great! You can add so many neat things to this... chopped ham, sausage, bacon, pepperoni, etc. It's so yummy! Hope all is well! Thank you for watching! Hugs...

  • Wait, I want to add one more "great" in my comment. Sounds like I have a limited vocabulary ;)

  • This is a really great post! It's great hearing from you! Hope you have a great day! Great big hug coming your way.... HA HA HA HA! Hope you're smiling :)

  • Looks very yummy Amy! Although real men don't eat quiche. Or at least that's what I've been told. Lol. Love to see the giggles at the end, it's become my favorite part of your vids. Great job Amy, another great video!!
