Anyone else remember when Jay Thomas was the a.m. DJ on WAYS? He was a regular at the place where my grandma worked, so it was weird to see him eventually make his break into TV and film.

Yep...I remember when Robert Murphy was on the radio on Big WAYS in Charlotte back in the late '70's and Larry Sprinkle was his side kick. Larry was also 'Pop Tart' in the Tarts electronics stores ads on TV. And I'll bet you that John Boy and Billy will give credit to Robert Murphy.
