  • KILL IT WITH FIRE!!

  • how much weight is this spider?

  • way way way to dry in her cage

  • are they friendly?

  • @TheConnord12 no, its probably just as mean as the other third world species (baboons, cobalt blues, australian hissings) def. not reccomended for new keepers

  • How did I end up here, I was watching Ricky Gervais

  • Thats such a well set up tank

  • @TheAppleShampoo182 I was thinking the same thing, its gorgeous!

  • it´s nice

  • ugly animal

  • well im playen akon beatiful to this video nice wrestler roll by the way

  • hey did you know mice of that size can bite your beloved tarantula and she will die thanks to your stupidity? feed them with crickets, roaches and worms, and maybe some locust for the biggest t's

  • @YogDodoth Plus mice are full of Calcium. Listen to YogDodoth. Don't be stupid. Do not feed your T mice.

  • omfg this is werid

  • biedna myszka:(

  • hey a boy in my school looks like that spider and a girl in my class looks like that mouse lol

  • WOW!!

  • nice size T BRO

  • Go get a girlfriend and stop masturbating to porn and killing mic....never mind keep being a loser.

  • @jamesdodd64 What? Lol how does anything you just said have to do with this? Just the killing mouse part I suppose.

  • @Fapjack1 You're right..I was wrong...I was drunk...I'm sorry.

  • Comment removed

  • Damn it! I want to see the remains of the mouse afterwards! Ive seen the mashed remains of crickets, but a mouse? DAMN!

  • That is the fastest motherfucking spider i have ever seen!! Fuck!

  • that brown thing is chuck norris breakfast

  • my brother has a Goliath. its still young and i am apprehensive to give it mice yet. but soon we will be able to

    beautiful spider.

  • yeah i like to see him do that to a scorpion lol

  • Cats kill animals for fun.....Do nutjob PETA folks attack them?

  • Thats a biggin

  • @MrDogStew You know what? I have three words for you: KISS MY ASS! And Go fuck yourself biatch!

  • Spiders gotta eat too.

Awesome to see one hunt like this, damn they're fast!

  • dam that spider is quick! bet you dont dare put your hand in that tank.

  • Ok, first ur not a very sharp owner...

READ care sheets before feeding a dangerous meal to ur tarantula.

ANY tarantula eats crickets and cockroaches, mealworms, grasshopers... NEVER mouses! The have so much calcium that can cause wet molt and she dies. Or just dies from calcium excess!

It's Sad to see a beutiful tarantula like that eating true venom.

P.S The mouse can break her a leg, or any think and she dies.

  • @bfsg92 true it can be like that if you feed you're taratula with mouses all the time. it is normal, no to be even more CORECT, it's NATURAL for them to eat mouse time to time. god damn it is normal for tarantula to eat other taratula that ain't the same species as they are. do you really think that the owner would give this beautiful tarantula to eat mouse if he or she didn't think that the tarantula can handle that kind of meal. read care sheet again before you go talk shit again. thank you

  • @TinaXAnimeXChan

Tina, with all due respect, just because mice are it's part of its natural diet doesn't it mean its safe. In captivity, we pay good money to keep them alive, not have killed in the wild by a $2 feeder. As one of the most famous, highly respected and oldest running tarantula channels on youtube, I never even once fed any Ts mice, not even to my theraphosa. You put the T in tremendous risk of getting it injured possibly killed. Most caresheets I've read DO NOT suggest mice

  • @Jon3800 "As one of the most famous, highly respected and oldest running tarantula channels on youtube, I never..." wow blow your own trumpet much?

  • @webleybulldog455

I don't NEED to blow my own trumpet.. Open your eyes and look at my channel... and you wouldn't be talking such nonsense. My knowledge speaks for itself. I own tarantula longer than you have and I'm not irresponsible keeper that would risk feeding my pair of T.stirmi mice..Incredibly dangerous and risky to the spider.

  • @Jon3800 Haha okay,so all yr subs etc equal knowledge of inverts now? And just how do you know you have owned T's longer than me? Your so far up your own ass its un-real pal. Have a great day "special one"

  • @webleybulldog455

Being mature, I'll take back what I said about experience it was uncalled for. But it's not a good idea to make me an enemy. Mostly yes. Tarantulaguy1976 and I have contributed to the most T knowledge here and help spread the hobby.

Most of your subs watch my videos and if it wasn't for my friend ahickin and Octavia, who watches my videos all time, you would still be calling your T a T.blondi.You might think I'm blowing my ass, but it's true. Ask them. Yes I'm special

  • @Jon3800 It was Ahicken who said to Octavia HE had a T.stirmi not to me lol I feed my larger T's frozen thawed mice from time to time(after moults normally) and have never had a problem, nor have any of my friends who do the same. All I'm saying is there is no need to become a Youtube "God" braggin about how much knowledge you have when in reality no one really knows it all about T's or inverts

But yeah I guess we are all in the hobby together mate and I really have no problem with you... Peace!

  • @webleybulldog455

Because I told him. Well frozen is a LOT better than feeding them live. Everytime mice are fed live you risk injury and might kill the T.

I'm not sure why you choose to involve yourself between myself and bfsg92's defense to Tina Anime's abysmal comment about its '' natural" environment and to read carseheets other than the ones found arachnoboards, I found it pretty sad. Even you would probably agree with me. I'm not bragging and by no means I'm God

  • @Jon3800 Ahicken-Octavia = I really do'nt see where I come into it?

Spiders in the wild can/will eat vertebrate... You appear to be smart enough to know this. fair enough if you do'nt feed yours vertebrate, this is your choice.

I did'nt involve myself in an argument per se,I saw it as someone braggin bout how bad as they are and how big their rep is... this to me is a form of bullying and I hate bullys!

You have explained that it may be your asperger's syndrome thats to blame so yeah,Kl

  • @webleybulldog455

Even I myself don't know the logistics of successful T breeding. I simply Wanted to put her in the place by saying that because captivity and wild are completely different things. That was simply all. I'm sorry if sounded like I was a jackass, but Real caresheets don't suggest feeding mice too often. That was the point I was trying to across.

  • @Jon3800 We are all in the hobby to learn(well we should be lol)

I'm sorry if I came across as a dick, after speaking to you here I was wrong to think of you as an ego-maniac when your not buddy .. peace

  • @webleybulldog455

because I have asperger's syndrome. Maybe you're unfamiliar with this. But at least you use scientific names in the hobby, I respect you for that, but it's no reason to be a dick about me blowing my own trumpet because of my vast knowledge and content on my videos when it's. It's not hard to click a link and find out. I'm honest and I prove what I show... walk the walk and talk the talk. Never judge a book by it's cover.

Again I apologize for what I said. Goodbye

  • @webleybulldog455

it has nothing to do with the number of subs he has. its the knowledge he has in his videos and the research he does. maybe you need to stop being a jackass and do some research yourself.

  • @thebarcode80 I did some research and guess what? Inverts still feed on mammalsin the wild ... Stop sucking up people arses,Jon and I settled our problem out when he appologised.

  • @webleybulldog455

yes they do feed in the wild... but it isnt good for them. tarantulas can and will die from too much calcium. so ya your right they do in the WILD. doesnt make it good for them.

  • @thebarcode80 You dont even know the diffrence between a blondi and a Stirmi(Your own video is proof of this) so dont try and tell me what is good for a T.

Feeding a T the size of a Goliath a mouse AFTER it has moulted will not cause it to die in the future.

Feel free to believe what you want to believe,my family have been keeping inverts for over 30 years(Iv kept Ts for over 17 years myself) and we have never had a problem.

  • @webleybulldog455 yes its a stirmi. video is mislabeled. store said was blondi, ddint know till after i took it out. so ya. keep trying. your almost there.

  • @webleybulldog455 Yes i know the difference. stirmi is missing hair around the knee area. and 17 years huh. and you dont know that mice can be bad for Ts? id hate to be the one who got suckered and bought from your store.

  • @thebarcode80 I dont have to keep trying at anything, its you thats showing your inexperiance by not taking on board any one elses opinions, but ahh well if all your education comes from Youtube then its to be expected.

Also I dont own a store,my family have kept exotic pets (mostly Inverts and snakes) as pets. Other than slings guess how many juvi/Adult T's we have had die via a bad moult? 0. When you have 1/2 my experiance come back and talk....

  • @webleybulldog455 oh and the stirmi used to be called a blondi. fyi.and my info doesnt come all from youtube. so maybe you need to check yourself first before you say other people are wrong.

  • @thebarcode80 Strimi was known as T. blondi "burgandy sp." I've no problem with you,Jon3800 or anyone else in my life. My opinion and allot of keepers opinions are feeding your T a mouse from time to time will not cause it to die. There has never been a study of calcium in spiders moults so who knows?

Your spiders are yours,do what you think is best for them,

I'm done replying here,if you have anything to say to me please just comment on my page.

    Peace

  • @webleybulldog455

actually do research before you post stupid comments. jon has been doing this for over 16 years and has everyone in the hobbies respect and go to him for advice. so ya i believe he has the right to say so.

  • @TinaXAnimeXChan

not even Tarantulaguy1976 recommends you feed mice. Especially to a species like this. REAL caresheets that are written by people in the hobby and myself included since I dedicate my whole channel as a tarantula documentary with feedings/moltings caresheets, etc (double the content as RobC) will tell you that Theraphosa are famous from chronic molting problems due to their sheer size. Its okay to feed mice once in a while but understand risk is involved.

  • Beautiful tarantula! Nice tank setup, too!

  • Lol, great feeding. Do you ever hold your T? I would be terrified because I don't want it thinking my hand is a mouse.. Haha

  • Comment removed

  • @DeadToolHead - They are not, but they are sentient & experience a range of core emotions similar to humans. The actual fact is it can only eat mice because its owner is prepared to give it mice that suffer agony & terror. People don't like it because they can empathise with the suffering of the mouse, empathy is a very natural & important part of being an effective social human.

The food chain argument fails because the spider is being kept in a highly artificial, un-natural environment.

  • @ginganz13 It's nature in a controled environment.

  • @CaptainBlackSparrows - oh yes, thats right - we used to see spiders living in plastic pots eating white mice in the Venezuelan jungle all the time on David Attenboroughs programs...

  • @ginganz13 'controled environment'

  • @CaptainBlackSparrows 'oxymoron' - 'sarcasm'

  • @ginganz13 Understanding natural selection and the food chain is a very important part of being an intelligent human.

  • @TheJewelChest - It may be useful knowledge but it has little to do with intelligence.

Feeding a WHITE mouse to a Spider from a different CONTINENT living in a GLASS TANK has very little to do with intelligence, knowledge or natural selection.

  • @ginganz13

I agree 100%. It is however pointless to argue here as people who hold such exotic animals in captivity are ad definitionem certifiables.

  • @Logan0304 Why would you even try to change peoples minds trough youtube? Just fooling urself that someone cares about ur opinion?

  • @DeadToolHead

Personally, I just think that the lives of warm blooded fuzzy animals are definitely more important than that of an imbecile degenerate like you.

  • @Logan0304 i have a dog a python bullfrog did have hamster but gave it to my python and goldfish u can have both

  • FUCK YOU!!! i love mouses <3 ! bad spider fan!

  • @Lordpyyjama mice fucktard

  • and you feed hamster to this big, ugli and terrible creature??? Where is your heart idiot? One day you will wake up and giant hamster will eat you like this and i want know how much pain you feeling! you forgot Treat smaller so as we would like to treat you better

  • @metalodievas lmao have you heard of a food chain before you half wit

  • thumbs up if u heard it squeak and then felt sorry for the mice

  • Comment removed

  • How come ever time I see a live mouse be put in a cage with a predator they always walk towards the spider like they have no clue of self-endangerment?

  • @lovehamsters45 youre an idiot

  • @Lovehamsters can i just say that you watched this video if you where so pure and kind you wouldent have even clicked on this link so erm......shut it

  • holy fuck

  • Pet spider hay, Errr

  • DAMN NATURE YOU SCARY

    had to do it

  • I'm just a beginner in the arachnid world and I would be afraid for my G.B.. I would not want the mouse bite my spider. I prefer giving my G. rosea pinkies. I know that G.B.s are bigger than G. rosea but I would still worry. Also, isn't mice to rich as nutrients?

  • @PF718 are you stupid? lol the mouse would have the power to even hurt the spider.

  • @PF718 Think its more the calcium from mice that isn’t good for your T, It can cause problems in the molt. Pinkies are fine though as they don’t have developed bones.

  • @101pullmyfinger I just bought another T (B. boehemei) and I asked the breeder if I could give them pinkies and she said it's preferable not too. She says that they cannot digest the bones or cartilage and fur because of their slow metabolism. She's has observed Ts in the wild for over 20 years as a biologist and she hasn't seen Ts eat small mammals or birds, their main diet is insects. And as you said, it can cause molting problems. I also wanted to give my Ts some pinkies.

  • @PF718 I took on a red knee last year that I was told hadn’t eaten in 6 months, I tried it on every thing and still it wouldn’t eat. It was on the advice of the bloke that owned my local reptile shop that I tried it on a pinkie. To my delight it eat that night and twice more that week by the fallowing week it was back on hoppers and with in a month it shed its now back to full health and has a really fat bum i still give it a pinkie now and then and have no problems

  • @PF718 small pinkies don't have fur or fully formed bone or cartilage.

  • @101pullmyfinger Also, the breeder confirmed my point of view for the injuries. An adult mouse can gravely injure the T. Mice in their defense can claw and nip and if they nip the abdomen it can kill the T. She has seen it a few times with beginners when they called her for emergency care, unfortunately there's nothing that could be done.

  • Nice Video but you have to Be careful it could Be very dangerous for the Spider!

  • i would prefer the mouse killing the spider :D

  • @tesa5000 me too :)

  • DAMN NATURE, YOU SCARY!!!

  • 0:33 look what i caught today

  • @73coop Lol I laughed so hard on that xD

  • great terrarium

  • To all you whining about cruelty to animals and torture and crap: Stop eating McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, and bacon. You fucking hypocrites.

  • que asco de bicho...hay que ser anormal para tener eso en casa.

  • beautiful girl !

  • It's nature working well when a spider eats a mouse so dont comment rudely ( though i wouldnt wanna be the mouse LOL )

  • I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M WATCHING THOSE SPIDER VIDEOS!! I'LL PROBABLY NOT SLEEP TONIGHT!!!!!!! O.O

  • To all of you tough guys and girls (psychos in the making) feeding mice to Ts.. you are all simple and need a head check up. They dont even fare well on the nutrients of vertebrates. Mongoloids..

  • Humans are on the nutrition tables too, this is natural as it should be...

  • que asco d bicho ¬¬ ... pobre ratón

  • All you guys which says "Poor mouse" this is a mouse specialy for feeding! No mouse you buy as a pet. They hatched specialy as food mice. Get over it. You eat meat..that are animals too and do you say "Poor Cow or Pig or Chicken or Whatever" before you eat? P.S. I' no vegetarian btw

  • @MrMoopp I wasn't aware that mice hatched like chickens.

  • haha that was awesome...everyone saying pooorrr mouse blah blah...guys, a mouse has no concept of death...the only thing he was probably thinking here was "oh noes!"...he more than likely went into shock immediately...so stop crying...you should see the slaughter of the cows you eat...this is tame by comparison

  • theraphosa leblondi ?

  • bloody hell!

  • well thats cool, poor mouse but thats nature at its best.

And metalhospital92 they're all just jealous that they couldnt hug a spider

  • 113 people dont like seen a mouse getting a hug from a spider

  • why do people keep saying poor mouse or poor little guy its bond to get eaten in nature and if it becomes a pet or something would you rather it starve to death or long painful deaths? get over it its life

  • Poor little guy. :(

  • gattttttoooooooooooooooooooo

  • They look so big and cautious about where they put their feet. One would think them clumsy if they tried to move fast.

    They are not.

  • I love the habitat you made for your T. Blondi. Im hoping someday to get something that big.

  • you're an idiot, i wonder if you would like to be the fucking mouse!

  • @kibustadoido //_-

  • :( thats mean!

  • Can You Make A Video About Your Setup Please

  • I'd stomp on the spider if I saw it... hate it when people on youtube enjoy seeing a mouse die. sickos.

  • @tantorecords theyre fucking rodents u fool. they carry disease, u wouldnt like it if one crawled in your baby's crib at night and gave it rabies now wouldnt you?

  • @fightboxing4545 Only the rodents you find on the street carry diseases really..not human reared ones. Still though, good spidey food

  • @tantorecords Ah, but the mouse went to a good cause... The stomach of a T.Blondi. Such pretty spiders...

  • @tantorecords Dont enjoi seeing a mouse die. We just enjoi the beauty of a Tarantula living.

  • ugly creature kills cute creature ...is that all?

  • 'And the mouse was Fumbled! OH! T.BLONDI got the Mouse! and it's a Touch Down! SPiders win this one folks!'

  • At first I didn't see the spider & had to back it up. I've never seen a big spider take down a mouse like that before! Imagine if that were your hand! Ouch!

  • who else got random itches?

  • I used to ALWAYS ask myself why the the last Stuart Little movie they made was animated... Jesus Christ, I wish I had just stopped asking!!!!

    NOOOOO!!!!!

  • I would feel sorry for the mouse, but... Oh that's right. I hate the bastards.

  • 3 days later, she pooped him out

  • It's not seen me... I have the element of surprize...

    NINJA ATTACK!

  • Comment removed

  • @HyperVegito 1) feeding inverts vertabrae is unnecessary slow death. 2)Calcium in mice can eventually kill T's especially in goliaths. 3)Having respect for livefood, and infact anything that lives to make its short life as painless and stress free is surely not being unfounded right?

  • @HyperVegito Mother nature. Yeah you are right.

  • @HyperVegito Yes... I am PETA... O.O

Is different knowing it happens in the wild and seeing it in a video... cause my initial reaction was "awww, what a cute mou--- HOLY SHIT! POOR THING! D:" Ahem... yeah...

  • @LeosRayne then don't watch the fucking video about a hungry spider and get mad because your ignorant.

  • @MrBlaziner I actually wasn't mad... Just saying I understood. Haha. Don't be all up in my koolaid, dude.

  • @HyperVegito ummm no we don't think were peta and mice are not retarded they happen to learn tricks fast coz i have three pet mice and the are damn well clever than you and spiders have nothing to live for and if someone steps on it no one would care because it's a hairy retarded reject!!!

  • @HyperVegito ummm no we don't think were peta and mice are not retarded they happen to learn tricks fast coz i have three pet mice and the are damn well clever than you and spiders have nothing to live for and if someone steps on it no one would care because it's a hairy retarded reject!!!

  • @HyperVegito yeah, this isnt really natural selection. because the fate was already decided. im sure "natural" selection only happens in "nature"

    this is just "selection"

  • @teedonster2 Yeah merry christmas, you just posted on a 3 month old comment, I hope your proud

  • @HyperVegito 3 monthy isnt that long ago, not sure what that has to do with your definition of natural selection being innacurate but w/e

  • @teedonster2 I actually really agree with you on this one, if someone was to put up a so called smart ass comment then they really ought to know the facts. This is not natural selection, you are choosing this animals fate as it has no where to run, it cant escape which is why it is frowned upon by many. This is called an inhumane way to die!

  • @6LeggedFriendsnCo yeah, what kind of moron would see this as natural selection anyway? its just live feeding. i disagree with live feeding and i think you should pre-kill them, safer for the snake/ spider and the rat/ mouse doesnt suffer in its final moments.

thats just me, many people take great pleasure in seeing rats die then get all emotional when it kills their snake.

  • @HyperVegito

about the white mouse part... sir, you just made my day

  • @HyperVegito you worked out what natural selection was in that 3 month? lol

  • Comment removed

  • @HyperVegito you really cant make sense of 4 comments?

  • THATS EVIL

  • fucking spider

  • HOW COULD YOU GIVE YOUR FUCKING SPIDER A LIVING MOUSE???!!!!!!!

  • @hardirider simpel: 1: buy a mouse. 2: go home....3: get it out of the box and in the terrarium....4: let spider enjoy his good and healthy natural meal....nowe that wasnt so hard right?? ;)

  • If there is such a thing as the reincarnation cast system, then you would have had to have been damn evil to come back as that mouse. Like if you agree!

  • @ooOooHeatherooOoo those buddist fucks. that shit is fake, lol if you die your dead.... poor little mouse. hes gone forever were gunna miss him !!! awsome spider !!!

  • Questions :) when the spiders ontop of the mouse and the mouse it twitching is that the nerves or is it still alive

  • omnomnomnomnomnom

  • Mouse - Where the hell am i...

    Spider - HAYYYY

    Mouse - OH SHI-

    Spider - *tackles mouse epicly*

    Mouse - HELP

    Spider -stfu

  • @WhiskerLoL Have you read back your own posts? What the hell is wrong with you?

  • @WhiskerLoL Erm, you clearly have some issues involving penises as you apparently can't stop mentioning them and being angry at the same time. Sir, I believe you need professional help resolving some clearly deep seeded sexual issues that maybe stem from some childhood abuse or something. Please fuck off and seek the help you so clearly need. This is, after all, just a video of a spider feeding.

  • Shut you little stink up!!

  • nice video. do you ever handle it? don't listen to the haters; it's not illegal to feed mice to things, anyway.

  • To all you guys who think it's cruel on the mouse: Do you feel guilty opening tins of dog or cat food? Are you all vegans? Probably not! Remember that all meat products involve animals dying and they're often not kept in very humane conditions prior to being slaughtered. You just get your panties in a twist because when you see meat you don't have to see the animals face so you can forget it was once alive. Think about this video next time you go to a damn burger king!

  • I see cry babies sobbing over the mouse.... Must be veagans
