@zockerapfell counter strike:source engine is much more better then some IW modified quake 4 game engine.the only thing is counter strike did not use the full potential of the source engine.

im no doctor, but i know the e8400 is one sick ass overclocking motherfucker, so i would go with that, rather than the q6600. and to be honest i dont think quad core would be really used for another 2-3 years, but agian im no doctor haha

Ok, i would say switch to amd and either get a 8800gtx or a 3870 or even the 4870. Im playing every game over 80 fps on high even on high.
