  • She has awesome cans, so is watch the video for that lol, what was it about again?

  • Funny thing reading these comments, the naysayer doesn't seem interested with the challenge to prove their point to claim the prize.

  • You should've plucked her meridians, if you know what I mean ;)

  • Saunders is a science Clown!

  • Where can I buy a Surly Ramics pendant! Also, your volunteer is a bit top heavy -- CoG? In a nice way.

  • @hiodr You can prove that AK is real then the Aus Skeptics have a $100,000 challenge. After you take that you could go for the JREF million dollar prize. Whatdya say? I'll even fill in the forms and I'll only ask for a 40% cut.

  • here we have again charlatan dunces lying by misrepresenting that they know how to do muscle testing when the truth is, they haven't got a clue. they're just monkeys attempting to mimic what they have seen. it requires considerable practice to do muscle testing relatively reliably. one thing you do not do is have the person in a position where they can recruit a number of muscles to support the limb in a particular position instead of isolating a particular muscle. this guy this guy is a fraud.

  • @dcchiripractor Ignorance? Credibility? AK has about the same scientific validity as these bands, necklaces and the tricks used to sell them. Nothing proven

  • This is not applied kinesiology. I suggest getting your facts correct. It is not related one bit to true applied kinesiology principles and procedures of practice.

  • @dcchiropractor Oh I don't know... it's just as real.

  • @skepticzonepodcast Not even close. All you do is prove your ignorance. As for the salemen selling these bands. It seems to lack credibility to me and I'm sure there are some dodgy people out there doing this type of thing to sell bracelets/necklaces etc.

  • @dcchiropractor There are dodgy people out there using AK to pretend to diagnose people's health concerns. Or is it people using dodgy AK? In fact I have yet to see AK that wasn't dodgy.

  • @skepticzonepodcast I think you'll find it's dodgy AK. There is plenty of recent research supporting AK's efficacy/

  • @dcchiropractor Umm... Do you practice it yourself? If so, apply to James Randi for the $1,000,000 prize.

  • @skepticzonepodcast Those hologram bracelets surely qualify for Randi's prize.

  • @skepticzonepodcast Mentioning the James Randi prize to these quacks and witch doctors usually does end the conversation pretty quick. If there was any truth to their dodgy claims, they'd be instant millionaires! Instead they refuse to go after the prize because they know they'll be shown to be scam artists.

  • @dcchiropractor there is zero research to support it,everyone with a science education knows its crap.

  • @dcchiropractor what hes saying is that AK in any form is rubbish,if youre a chiro and you offer AK ,youre a cowboy and fraud.

  • We need more videos like this to expose the tricks used by "snake oil" salesmen.

  • POWERBANDS

  • I really don't like it when people do this trick and am even more appalled when people don't even see what a demonstrator is doing.

  • I have a friend who is being tricked by muscle testing. When I told her about this, she said her "doctor" was using a different method (her hand was raised like the old American greeting when they said "How"--head facing forward, hand raised to side of face, palm facing forward, then doc pushes arm forward/down. Do you know the trick/technique involved with this one? Thank you posting this vid to expose the lies. Is your new video out yet? I can't seem to find it.

  • i really would like to know the trick and how to do it cause my friend is about to waste his money on a bracelet

  • @roxburyracer2008 Well, push down and a tiny bit away from the body to make someone tip, push down and towards the body to make them seem strong.

  • My 16yo daughter just came home last night from her mother's with one of these PB bracelets. Being a scientist, I instantly called placebo effect. This is new age silicon and mylar snake oil. I called PB to see if they had hard scientific data and what measurement methods they use. Of course I was told that the data and testing methods were propriatary and private. Thanks for your video. It will help with the deprogramming I now have to do. Purple Kool-Aid anyone?

  • @Jamesnotbond1964 We are currently producing a video that shows many of the "tests" used in selling magic pendants and such like. Hope to have it online in March. It will also include how to test these things at home.

  • Ah I see, this was you doing those tricks! Didn't get that the first time until I saw the other vids covering the topic.

I need to get me some of these Surly-Ramics. :D

  • Just a quick warning to people who want to use this 'trick' of pushing the arm down while extended - please place your other hand on top of their shoulder to stabilise the joint before applying the downward pressure, (especially on people you don't know) as the shoulder is a very shallow ball/socket joint. If you are unable to stabilise it, be careful not to apply too much downward force.

  • @fuzztwin Good advice. Another reason to stop people who do it at psychic fairs.

  • @shitthebed666 There is more too it than that.. but I'll be making another video to explain it all soon.

  • heh.. that's ok. The "real" thing fails tests.

  • There is nothing like a thoughtful comment and yours indeed is nothing like a thoughtful comment.

  • They sell this at my work. The young lady who introduced them was so impressed that she wears two.

  • @grenangle She should see this video!

  • I did that demo myself actually and even threw in the four finger lift. They hate me.

  • Not only does it save lives but it saves minds too.

Nice work Saunders and Dunning! (even if Brian's presence can only be felt psychically in this video)

  • Audio would be nice... I would have loved to hear what they were saying!

  • @senectus1 Yes,.. the pub was very loud so you could not hear it. But I think you can guess :)

  • saunders is kind of a babe magnet aint he?

  • Fantastic.
