they are gona make machines and take over peoples jobs and then the machines will take over the people who made the machines...and those machines will start building machines and the world is gona be machines and the human race are going to be slaves of the machines
yeah right?nothing like taking the jobs away from people.machines will take over.maybe not from a.i. but as you may see what i am getting at. just what you said citylims....its the age of the machine!
Pointless in every way except if you wanted to cut a piece of fish into relativity the same size portions, which is all it does? I don't see why you would want to buy this? So you can use it every 3 months? Asians waste their time, they need to work on something more useful.
it might not be interesting for the commercial user, but it is verry handy for restaurants. I think this was made for industries, or it would have been waaaayyy smaller.
most likely it is not made for public average consumers but instead for shops, butcheries(sea food), and maybe some companies that distribute fish-related products(already prepared food)
eh no he is right. A large number of fish species are allready on the edge of extincion and its calculated that if we fish like we do now at the same rate somwhere between 2040 and 2050 the sea will be almost empty. Sounds weird but its true. There are simply too much people on this planet.
merely cutting it fast wouldnt change the consumption of fish, unless the population in Japan grows. why would they slice more than the population can consume?
i suppose if theres more fish sliced, fish slices should get cheaper. then every ordinary bloke will be thinking no harm eating more since its cheap, right?
its sad with all that overfishing and stuff thats going around. i suppose much respect goes to fast and quick food.
wow so that is a $150k machine. i was like wtf $12 million yen, then saw it was nothing =)

why shouldn't it be useful?
this wasn't intended for the common household to begin with but rather for companies who sell fish products by volume
2203lisa 2 years ago
cleaning it would be a hassle...
salmonella?
TheComplementor 2 years ago
it probably has some kind of cleaning cycle if it is advanced enough to weigh and measure each piece of fish it cuts

Otto Frederick Rohwedder of Davenport, Iowa invented the first loaf-at-a-time bread-slicing machine. A prototype he built in 1912.
WOW - THEY MADE A FISH SLICER 97 YEARS LATER - LOL

No fish should ever be cut up that fast. It's wrong and eventually we'll run out of fish at the rate we're killing them all.
jtoznel 2 years ago
thats like saying well eventually run out of air, thats a ridiculous thing to say

i was going to say that. And yeah, that's how it works.
Tuna is almost extinct because we overfished, and 40% of net caught tuna was discarded because people didn't get the fish out before they rotted.
jtoznel 2 years ago
I betcha right now that they're fish-farming tuna and other edible fish!
