    you ARE! XOOXXO Ms.Centrum 04

  • I'm gonna rock the Boss and Big Man all the way down the turnpike, through Philly, and down the expressway to Atlantic City for the next 3 hours today. It's gonna be great.

  • it saddens me that I've never thought of seeing an interview with Clarence Clemons until after he died.

  • R.I.P big man. We will remember you always!!!

  • Pure destiny. A beautiful and extraordinary relationship without pretense, pure love and admiration between two men who shared their love and talent with the world.

  • Big Man, words can't express the gift that you have left the world with. I along with the entire E-Street nation have mourned you for days now, but it's time we celebrate your life and legacy. I hope that Bruce and the band and Clarence's family truly know how much we love and cherished every note he played on stage. I am greatful to have been in your company numerous times on stage and you always amazed me. RIP Big Man.

  • You were supposed to be there, Clarence! Thanks for giving us everything you had. You left your mark on the world, and I have no doubt you enjoyed your life. I'll always be a fan.

  • Will we go on from here? I'm sorry! That was a selfish comment. I have to stop and really get a grip. The E- Street Band has endured and adapted to the changes that generations put on their music.. WOW! What a sound. Huh? Know this, E-Street will, I believe, not abandon the family we have become.

  • R.I.P. Clarence Clemons your ervice here on Earth was not in vain

  • The ' Big Man' is up there playing with Charlie Parker !

  • Im so glad i got to see him with Bruce and the E Street Band a few times... i will always remember Clarence's solo in Jungleland in Dublin 2009. A Truly gifted man, and he was in the wire too! RIP

  • Gonna miss Clarence, but wow, he would laugh at some of the hyperbole in these comments.

  • Big Man lives on in all of us!! R.I.P. We will miss you!

  • So sad, if we had more black men like him in this world. Whites and Blacks could live happy with each other. RIP BIG MAN

  • @Mjwforlife So let me get this straight....Black men are the reason whites and blacks have had problems in this country? You are a complete idiot.

  • thanks big man! RIP

  • Rest in Peace to the great Clarence Clemons.

  • It will always be there for me. A beautiful chapter has gone.

    Rest in Peace.

  • RIP Big Man. Heaven's band just got a whole lot bigger.

  • If the day I day I'll have the chance to meet all those who died before me:elvis, clarence,Jimi, etc... I want to die now !!!!!!

  • If I hear one more time that he collaborated with Lady Gaga on two tracks of her new album and his last appearance was in one of her videos I am going to throw up. So what? He collaborated with many musicians throughout the years. It just seems that the media is hammering this to a ridculous degree. It's not like this women needs media hype. I think they should focus on what Clarence meant to Bruce and the ESB as well as all of his loyal friends who have supported the band throughout the years.

  • A loss to music and I feel heartbroken. RIP Big Man

  • R.I.P Big Man, I always remember when you played the saxophone for me when I was a little girl.

Wach over Tina and Christopher, they need that and i promise I take care of them when they get back home.

  • Today is a sad day on earth and a really happy one in heaven, we all miss our biggest man but I think it was time for him to leave us and play for God and all angels, they´ve been waiting for him for 69 years...

  • Rest In Peace, Big Man! Your music will live on forever!

  • Clarence, you will be missed!! But never forgotten!! Rest in peace BIG MAN.

  • "I was a born rock and roll sax player..." yes you were! And that's how you lived your life- and you were one of my biggest influences. ONE NOTE from you was just as powerful to me as 50 notes by the genius Coltrane... you taught me that one note perfectly placed could change the world.

  • The heart stoppin' pants droppin' house-rockin' earth shakin' booty quakin' love makin' Viagra takin' history making Legendary ... BIG MAAAAN CLARENCE <3

  • wow how we all blow by the winds of fate, the strength of there friendship always shows on stage, even befor you hear how thay met you know it must have been a special moment in both there lives, makes my feel happy to know that some people have good things blown there way sometimes in this world, some times it seems iv had nothing but rotten timing and met all the wrong people, maybe thats the diffrents between the few that come good and the millons that just dont, beautiful story to hear

  • I'd like to know what happened to Norman the Jewish guy with the big red afro.

  • @skippbitman I just did some research on him. His name is Norman Seldin and he was a musician who played in several shore bands and considers himself one of the trench guys in the Asbury Park music scene. Get this, he came out with a two cd 46 track set titled, Asbury Park Then and Now. Five members of the ESB play on several tracks recorded in 1980. Clarence played with him in a band called, The Joyful Noyze. Google him. There is an interesting article on him.

  • When i was young i asked my dad who he was

My dad replied by saying he is both supercool and a great saxophone player

If anyone was wondering why i asked i had just watched the whole of Bruce's

    1978-88 video

  • When you see the Big Man... and he asks to sit in... are you gonna tell him "no"?! Love ya Clarence! Blow that horn forever!!

  • The Big Man is the GREATEST!!

  • when the change was made uptown and the big man joined the band....

  • I really enjoyed listening to that story. It shows how music breaks down the black/white thing and brings us together.

  • ...and the big man joined the band...

  • You wanna talk about cool, search no farther, the big man is like a marvel comic superhero of cool, you see him on stage in a slick ass suit blowing into that horn and you know God exists...I also love the fact that in his ryder he to this day demands a knee wrap and two joints, now how playa is that

  • Outstanding. What a great soul he is.

  • what a beautiful story Big Man! I knew you were like that!

  • Thx for sharing! We're lucky that those two met on that stormy night.....and you can still see the connection they have since then......And CC is such a wonderful, nice and friendly person!!! Thx Clarence for all your sax solos!!!

  • THATS MY FRIENDS DAD! :D No joke!

  • A very cool guy - one of the coolest in the E street band, and easily recognisable as a jazz man - he can say what he likes, but it was the jazz effect that made Bruce's music so good, so original, so full of character. A friend of mine heard the Boss for the first time the other day - Badlands - and she said that it had strange harmonies in it - this is what I'm talking about.

The Boss and Clarence met on a stormy night - and composed some truly thunderous songs - a legend was born that night

  • the last minute of this is great

  • Thanks so much for posting this. It just proves to me that much more how perfect a fit CC and the Boss are for each other, and there's no doubt about it, this was fate.

  • God bless the BIG MAN! A legend.

  • Read the Big Man's book! It is full of great stories...you will love it!

  • @julhardi1 - What is the title please?
