@prdan420 no shit. We gotta go ridin some day. My quads been parked for well over a year. I stripped out the oil drain bolt and haven't had the urge to get it fixed dealing with lyme disease and a bunch of other medical problems lately.

If you're snowmobiling this yr, be careful of the trails and cops. Things got out of hand last year. And the bridge got washed out during the hurricane in the sod fields. So trails from p.i to westown will be much different this yr.

@1dcramo Hey, I liked the Suction cup mount, it holds up good, I would reccomend it for having more options with the camera angles. But sometimes it can be real shaky on the fenders, it depends on the quad and how its mounted.  My camera came with one, but if they are cheap, i'd say get one if you use the camera alot. They work great on car windsheilds and whatnot too.

@RPDXC Hi there, first of all great ride u done there and nice HD clip... and second you can use Pinnacle Studio HD Ultimate 15 and after you edit your video choose the DivX Plus HD and it will save your video's in .mkv format with no quality loose. From Romania respect, u can check my quad too. :)

Yeah the powerdirector is the best program to edit the gopro videos. All the other programs I used didnt output the files right.

I just got the Go Pro HD. I took some simple test vids to see what the quality is like on youtube. The compression on youtube was done in like a few minutes. And the quality came out great.

I am using Powerdirector Pro and exported the movie as Mpeg2 as the program doesn't support MP4 in HD. Had to change the frame type to progressive so it wouldn't be 1080i but 1080P. Easy to edit with and runs good on almost any computer. It turns the quality down in the preview. Worth a try!

I'm having trouble too with editing. But I had some success with shorter videos for some strange reason. Make sure your settings are set correctly. I was using AVCHD 1080i, but the GoPro needs to be set at HD 1080p. This allowed me to edit my shorter vids., but the longer ones won't load properly.

Is your computer fast enough to actually play 1080P? Because I know I can play 1080i on my computer but 1080P is very choppy.

I use PowerDirector pro too. I just to transfer it into H264 on Power Director Pro. This will transfer it to 1080i. Then I edit it on Adobe Premiere pro. I have a fast computer, but I still had trouble playing the HD directly from the GoPro. Once its transferred over it looks great. Saw your shed video. I hope the snow melts for you soon.

The quality is better if you export to mpeg 2 instead of H264. This because you can set Mpeg 2 on progressive instead of interlaced.
