@TargetRender Line2 supports multi-tasking so you can run it in the background and it will automatically open when a call comes in. Uses very little battery life, especially compared to apps like Skype.
Okay, so when a call comes in and the Line2 app isn't open, it will automatically be forwarded to your regular cell number as the guy stated in the video. But can you simply open the app WHILE the call is coming through and have pick it up on Line2, or no? Seems like a great app, but you'd have to keep the app constantly open in order to use it, and I wonder how much battery consumption that app uses. I'll have to give this a try.
@TargetRender This video is for version 2.4. The current version 3.01 supports multi-tasking so you can run it in the background. If someone calls Line2 automatically opens - you can choose to answer, ignore, send to voicemail, or forward. 30 day free trial - try it out ;)
This would be awesome for small businesses. However, I can't see this ever working for Verizon/Android phones. I've never not had a reception and I am in buildings in Manhattan all the time. If iPhone users are willing to pay $15/month for something they shouldn't need to begin with, god bless ya. Should be a free app too, charging $1 makes zero sense.
BULLSHIT. It's not free for 30 days but it absolutely should be. Took me 6 days just to figure out how to get it to work correctly.

@nikecortez - no charges to either party for US/Canada calls. International calls start at $.02/min.
