@TheDancersAnthony They're skippable. If you have the master key, you can get into blighttown via the valley of drakes. There's a shortcut to Izalith by giving 30 humanity to the old witch underneath quelaag's lair.

impressive time - impressive route - unimpressive use of equipment and pyro - only time he parries is what 4-5 times against gwyn in stone armor lol - i know i couldnt beat this time but thats bcuz id be speed running w/ skill and use starting equipment and who knows maybe eventually someday Fist weapons ... which would make bosses 10x harder and longer to kill bcuz they dish out so little dmg but then you actually engage in real battles Vs spamming overpowered pyromancy pre or post patch. ; )

@ThouShallParry I've seen you complain about his choice of equipment / skills in every single video. It's a freaking speedrun. You do whatever you can to complete it faster. Why would you make the game harder and longer if you want to speedrun? Atleast he didn't glitch 75% of the game like the guy who beat portal under 10 minutes.

Give 30 Humanity to spider girl = shortcut. Considering this is a speedrun and the guy spend about four minutes standing there just watching a number tick down, instead of taking on bosses, it should be an obvious link.

By giving 30 Humanity to the Chaos Covenant, you can skip Demon Firesage, Centipede Demon, all of the Dragon Asses and most of the Stray Demon Statues in Lost Izalith, by taking a shortcut just before the Firesage. Gives you quick access to the farm the respawning Titanite Demon, too. It you enter the shortcut and kill the Chaos Bug that drops the Sunlight Maggot item (kill all of them you can see, basically), then you can save Solaire and he will be a summon for Gwyn.

The Titanite Demon in Lost Izalith drops 2 Demon Titanite, and respawns. If you kill the Chaos bugs before entering Lost Izalith, then he'll be okay and won't kill you.
