Can't someone just answer in layman's terms what is a widget; what defines something as a widget as opposed to just calling it a program?
I see all these damn vids detailing individual widgets, but no one just says what defines a widget. For example of a definition: a widget is a program that .......(please fill in the blank)?
If someone asks me what a hybrid car is, I don't answer them by listing types of hybrids. That doesn't answer. Defining parameters please on what constitutes a widget.
