Thanks Useeher. I think the point is that Rickie has quite an unorthodox action and isn't one of those guys who has a coach follow him around the Tour. That makes him pretty unusual and very interesting for us to study. There's more than on way to play this game!
sooooo, being on a team in college doesn't qualify as having been taught? He went to Oklahoma state University...I know they have a very good Golf Team, you don't think he learned anything from that Golf coach while he participated in there.....I would wager that he would disagree
Sorry bro but Rickie did indeed have a golf coach, his name was Barry Mcdonnell.
or "Big B" as we called him at the Murrieta Valley Golf Range. I worked there for 5 years in the mid 90's til 2002. Rickie started working with Barry when he was just 7 years old all the way until Barry passed in May of '11. Barry was a big Hogan guy and showed those techniques to Rickie his entire youth.
