@indiaryofjane this will take me about 20-25 minutes if I do it thoroughly, but it can be done faster. The curling iron I'm using is a 1" Revlon Ceramic Curling Iron--very affordable!

@Blueeyedlover66 "Curling" irons aren't just used to creates "curls" in hair--they can create "waves" in hair as well--just as I have done in this tutorial--big bouncy volumized waves. Just because it is called a "curling" iron doesn't mean that limits its use to simply curling. A flat iron or straightening iron can be used to curl or create waves in hair just as easy as it can be used to straigthen it! :) thank you for watching!

@badabeembadaboom just saw your comment--& no it will not "burn" your hair as long as you don't leave the curling iron on the hair too long & as long as you use heat protectant on your hair--I would not style my hair like this every day however because it can be very damaging to the hair to use this much heat on it all the time!

@TheLehAya any product that says "volumizing" on it! get a good root plumper, try a few out until you find one that works good for you, especially since you have thick hair. blow dry your hair upside down and lean over the tub to wash it upside down and that will help add some volume!
