@skarletsky 40 weeks adds up to 9 months not 10. Common misconception-one month is 31 days, 4 weeks is 28 days, not counting those 3 days for 9 months means your not counting 27 days totall during the pregnancy if you say a month is only 4 weeks. 40 weeks=280 days 9 months=279 days 10 months=310 days
therefore 40 weeks = 9 months people!!!!!! not 10, they dont say 9 month pregnancy for nothing
@kathlejn Dear it will be ok. You'll go through it as everyone woman (that chooses to parent anyway) will... and you'll be fine. The main point is to have a healthy baby, and see that mom is safe. Your body will know what to do. Childbirthing classes are excellent. I recommend checking into one. They are really fascinating and very educational. Congrats and best of luck.
@kathlejn i had my first baby a boy when i was 18, at home, naturally. I cry when i get a paper cut! Seriously! lol but i think when you believer you can do this, you will, and you excel well past what you ever thought you could do xx
@kathlejn my mom had me when she was 16. I'm now in my 30s. She had 6 kids total all naturally. You'll be alright, just research the "Bradley Method" to giving birth. It's extreamly informative.

1. It doesn't matter if she'll be 20 when she gives birth, what's the difference?
and 2. Duh pregnancy is 9 months.
