he must have known you would do a glowing review of his place otherwise your review would include the fact that he tells you what you will eat and there is usually an F-bomb thrown in. The food is okay but I wouldn't call it spectacular. And he certainly isn't the BEST in CR.
@monocostarica Did you have the mushrooms? the stuffed calamari? And the salads were also very good. The steak was just a tad above average. As far as the f-bomb, WTF? He's a breath of fresh air in a world of stoics that make up the restaurant business here in CR.... and for the record, he knows nothing of this video unless someone told him after the fact.
@KaroCannV Foremost we are a travel channel, then a 'living in Costa Rica' channel....and we stick to the basics,,,not looking to do 'in-depth' stuff, although I think it would be interesting..... maybe someday.

@Xianman06 We have our own views on the subject as well, but the fact is, we're a TRAVEL CHANNEL... we pass along INFO about traveling in Costa Rica.... we just know dude serves good food.... and really, you're assuming too MUCH about the owner(s)... a lot of people move to Costa Rica because they're sick of taking sides and playing politics,,they just want to do their thing.... that said, I didn't ask,,,just know he serves killer mushrooms
