  • What power supply do you have in order to only need a250-300ohm pot? And do the mirrors have to spin in opposite direction of each other, or do they spin the same direction?

    Very nice Video

  • did u have to make a circut board or did u just solder the wire to the potentiometers

  • No board. This is just a really simple project, power supply->potentiometers->fans. The laser pointer is separate.

  • This is truly amazing, do you have any instructions to this or a link I could go too. I want to make this for my science class thank a lot.

  • ok, now show us the lorenz attractor!

  • nice you should thak a look at mine

  • How are you getting yellows and blues out of a red laser diode? Is it just an effect you added to the video?

  • Windows movie maker.

  • Really nice!.

What did you use as mirrors? Real mirrors or plastic ones? Or even cd's?

See if I can make this myself to :).

  • They're just some small circular glass mirrors from a hobby store, mount them on the fan slightly tilted on one side so the beam is distorted into a circle, if that makes any sense. I've also made simple spiros from old cds.

  • I'll see if I can find it.

I'm going to make this ^.^.

    Only need to find potentiometers.

  • Btw. How much ohm are ur potentiometers?

Will 250 Ohm do the trick?

  • Someone already asked that

and I replied in the comments.

  • Oops, my bad.

    Sorry for bothering you ;)

  • No Problem

  • How many Ω are the potentiometers?

  • About 300 ohms, but i think around 250 might be ideal.

  • Thx!

  • wow.......
