Then how the hell will an ECU know what your doing on the trails. remember, this is a massive difference between traction and traction Control....
Ill take mechanical locker over "computer control" any day.
@JayandJenn07 um the computer doesnt control a electronic locking differential... you pull the switch out and its locked all the switch does it control the electric flow two and from the locker to engage and disengage it. and on a raptor in offroad mode it automaticly turns off traction control and the locker stays engaged up to 100 mph. i belive the g80, when it does engage only stays engaged up to 20 mph.

never understood the appeal to taken a brand new truck throwing a small lift on it and beating it to hell, when an older model was built better for this kinda shit the only upgrade for the off road world from the factory was the eletronic locker in the rear ends ford and chevy now have, but take a 5 grand truck throw about 4-6 grand into it and it will out perform the newest trucks hands down, i daily drive a 2007 f250 4x4 but she never sees the trails or mud, thats wat my 89 bronco is for:)

@sm32586 Im pretty sure the newer truck is better. why would they make it and keep it around if it wasnt? ive been in lots of different trucks both on and off road and i do agree that old chevys are good for wheeling because they are quite durable but they beat the fuck outta you because they ride like a hay wagon. now the newer chevys are very comfortable and the suspension is way better its just the fact that they are expensive and not a lot of folks like the idea of mudding in a new truck.

@rockytophummer I am really glad I went with my 2500HD 2011. The changes they made to them are bad ass, the only bad thing is now have to buy all the shit for it. I have put the bumpers on it so far and tint and a little lift. My goal will be to make a video of all the cool stuff I did to it when I finshed. I hope to have it completed by May.

I dont have the mb motoring anymore got black procomps now. I would not put nitto muds on I had you exact truck but a 2001 and put those tires on and only got 10000 miles of tread life out of them go with the bfg muds little more expensive but worth it
