at the end of this i could hear the background noise of the vinyl record and the needle lifting up. i love that sound and i backed it up a few times to hear it again. i listened to this incessantly when i was a kid, and traded it for some reason, regretted it later, and thought i lost it forever. that was 30+ years ago. it's the prodigal king.
But this was the King Crimson by those days. I saw them in Quebec city by 1970 or 71. That was that band with Collins, Wallace, Boz and Fripp naturally. What a show ! And Collins was there for playing on Lizard and Islands, too.
My vinyl copy of this is so f***cked with repeated playing I thought I'd never hear this incredible tune again. Thanks for posting.

@blitzman64 this isn't blues at all...
ptamras5 1 month ago
I heard that Fripp couldn't jam blues.
The band would jam just to piss off Robert.
Still sounds great to me. :o)

Which turns into this nice NY jazz/blues bar vibe (referring to the jazz jamming-esque kinda exchange between the singer and the guitarist)

This song has a nice, urban, underground hip-hop vibe.

@Yeorcgorgon It is also an awesome King Crimson album. Toothpaste. The World's My Oyster Soup Kitchen Floor Wax Museum. Lock combination.

I saw a review of all of Crimson's albums online. The reviewer considered this one of their worst. What an idiot.

@Lightmane321 the sound quality makes some of the tracks pretty difficult to hear.
