@Patrickbch once you get sideways there is plenty of power to keep the back tires spinning but he is still traveling slower than the silvias, mainly because they use 2nd gear and have to keep high rpms due to the turbo lag, 4AGE in Ueo's car is all motor baby! gotta love the Hachi Roku!!!

Ueo is the man!! He is owning all of those drivers. I remember the first time I saw him it was back in 2003 at Irwindale. That was the first official D1 style drift competition in the states and I was there!!! I have an AE86 so seeing him win was that much more intense. He is using a mildly modified 16v version of the 4AGE said to produce around 200 horse with a car that only ways around 2000 pounds.. He also has amazing drift technique and driving instincts that few can match.

puttin a turbo in a ae86 is the worlds most stupid thing to do, these engine are meant to be NA, they rev very high, at least put a supercharger, a turbo will created lag and your car wont be good for anything except drag racing, bu8t a AE86 is meant to be a drift/race car

there will only be lag if i put a giant turbo. I am putting a T25/T28 turbo which is ment for small engines. Look at the SR20DET its a Turbo 2.0L the 4age is 1.6L so 400cc is not a big difference. I know its a high revving engine but it isnt fast. You can still drift with a turbo. Its going to be a drift car but I also want it to be a fast car :P. Also 20v is more flow for force induction. A supercharger would rape the power and in return not give alot back. The turbo on the other hand is small.
