You're an idiot, that wouldnt work as well if cut clean holes for the intake side of the fan but instead you have a fflat piece of metal underneath it. It's like sticking paper behind a fan... see how much air comes out the front.

It's a radiator, not cooling fans perse, they cool the liquid with air. hot air from the case wouldn't be too great for it.

honestly i think the top mounted radiators are kinda not doing much simply due to the fact they have about a half inch gap for cool air to feed in or hot air to vent out depending on the directions of your fans,

u shouldn't have the radiator face down or else it won't get cool air, to cool the water temps u need good and efficiant air flow through a radiator

Nice mod, but one big tip:

Cut a hole for each fan and the barbs in the case top, and put it the other way around. The way you have it, it sticks out a lot, and not enough air goes through. Put it upside-down so it draws air out of your case instead of blowing hot air into it, put it at least slightly inside (maybe just the fans), and then cut holes for the tubing connectors so they don't stick out and have tubing running in and out of your case. Nice hardware by the way!

your correct, but you also are incorrect

I believe he placed the fans so that they would pull air off the radiator (heat rises up, the fans are on top, thus the heat goes into the fans which pull them away)

however... he made the lazy choice of not cutting an area for the radiator and so he will get very minimal airflow through the radiator even if he did raise the radiator off the case with the standoffs... don't skimp... not to mention he's using a thermaltake setup... known to cause isssue

Thermaltake has good/great water cooling set ups but be prepared to change your pump out. There pumps tend to die out after a given amount of time.

thermaltake are really good dnt listen to him they have been around much longer then swiftech and know what they are doing. thermaltake are great and as u prob know cool down ya pc more then enuff :D great job btw
