I am proud to say that I am & always will be a "chicks" fan. I really, really wish these talented, beautiful ladies would reunite. It was their right to say what was said. The first Amendment gives us that right as Americans. It was a shame that they were black listed for saying what was on their minds. Their music speaks volumes and they need to know that they still have fans who love and cherish their music and that their fans want to hear their beautiful voices sing again.

They had the right to say, and the people that were offended have a right to their choice too. I personally was offended at their comments but didn't feel they should be black-listed. I do think they were wrong to degrade our leaders. The Bible says not to speak evil of dignitaries.

This may seem like a stupid question but i'm not totally smart when it comes to the Dixie Chicks, but I know their are 3 of them, yet I see 3 here. Theirs Natalie Maines doing pree much all of the singing and playing guitar, theirs the fiddle player, theirs the darker haired one playing banjo, and theirs the other blonde playing guitar.
@BrandonSLe88 Natalie is the lead singer (who's playing electric guitar on this song too), is no relation to the other two. When they all started, they were all blondes. The one who plays banjo, Brunette Emily is sister to the other blonde on the fiddle, Martie. There were so many looks in this video because it was taken from the concert film, which swiched back in every song to different performances (my only problem with the DVD). I'd rather they stayed with one locale per song. They RULE

Had never heard of the Dixie Chicks, did not do country, totally into rap, hip hop, etc then 911 happened. These woman spoke out, as our constitution permits; heard the vile remarks made my Toby Keith, saw reports of radio stations that black balled the "chicks" music. and was horrified. Pulled up articles on the Dixie Chicks, went to You Tube, listened to all their songs that were listed, enjoyed their music & performances, became fan,buy all albums-love them! Toby who-You go girls!

Oh shit me and my sister on a tare we used to kick it up no holds barred baby!! she passed away but we had some fucking great times and i god i miss the fuck out of her!! we would close the bars and we always left with life long friends no matter where we went! it seem now i find myself drinking alone trying to kill the pain and not wanting to go on any more.without her. fuck that sounds so sad!

This may seem like a stupid question but i'm not totally smart when it comes to the Dixie Chicks, but I know their are 3 of them, yet I see 3 here. Theirs Natalie Maines doing pree much all of the singing and playing guitar, theirs the fiddle player, theirs the darker haired one playing banjo, and theirs the other blonde playing guitar.
Which one of those isn't one of the 3?

@BrandonSLe88 Natalie is the lead singer (who's playing electric guitar on this song too), is no relation to the other two. When they all started, they were all blondes. The one who plays banjo, Brunette Emily is sister to the other blonde on the fiddle, Martie. There were so many looks in this video because it was taken from the concert film, which swiched back in every song to different performances (my only problem with the DVD). I'd rather they stayed with one locale per song. They RULE
