Hunter S. Thompson, Gary Webb, The D.C. Madam, Chauncey Bailey, journalism is not a safe field to be in. Speaking truth has cost any people their lives. Based on the old crime theory of who benefits most from the event(s), I suspect the well timed deaths of Tim Russert & George Carlin were about a bit more that natural causes, like a book release.
Stay safe and keep on reporting. They kill folks by mistake too. It will take all of us to fill Chauncey's shoes.
