I've never ever seen a HD dvd in any store here in Europe. Have there even been movies put on HD dvd?

So basicly... 10 movies on one disk, in the loading time of one HD DVD Movie.

I think good came out of all this... for me at least, I own a 360 and PS3... the PS3 has a built in blu-ray player so im all set and the HDDVD Drive has been reduced to $50.00 and there will always be a selection (all be it small) of movies that will only ever be on HD and not blu-ray simply due to legal rights. So it's good to have both if you're a huge movie buff even if one did lose. Then again if you're just another mainstreamer then, ya don't get a HD Player

whoever made this video you have to realize that beta-max was a sony product and it lost back then for the same reasons it blu ray is being marked down, it was to expensive for the gain it gave in size and amount of information. i own a ps3 and 2 xbox 360's and i have to say i liked the hd-dvd better because it was faster to load up and the picture wasnt nearly as oversaturated as ps3's blu ray. plus ps3 doesnt have any "original" title that doesnt suck or look terrible compared to the 360.

HD-DVD isn't dead, its in a coma, like the Sega Dreamcast. And furthermore Betamax kicks ass, way better than DVD's ROFL. Really I'm glad its over cause both formats were losing out on potential consumers. I can't wait to see if Blu Ray will take off though. I think that Digital download may be a problem.
