As for television shows, British television is horrendous. I can only think of two shows that were brought to America, and only one that was an actual copy, and that's The Office, which is actually better than the very childish "scream, scream, scream!" Well, that's arguable. I mean zombies adapted intellect in Romero's films and he was one of the first zombie film series to have mass popularity on the zombie film industry. Then the idea of "viral" zombies came along.
Point is, slow zombies will always exist in film, and so will fast zombies. It's two types of films that breed two types of emotion and experience.
I just loved this show so bad. Want to watch it over and over again. The best thing i've watched lately about zombies. The show looks bad but when you watch it you just scream and shout. Inteligent and funny :-D

@4nus At first, I kind of liked The Walking Dead, but after reading the comic book and waching Dead Set, I strongly think that The Walking Dead is a failure.......
Can't wait for amc's second season of the walking dead. Not to put this series down but i kind of like the production value in the walking dead a bit better. side note (way better). reminds me of left 4 dead 2 for some reason (ie georgia and louisiana). Hope next season has a swamp scene or something. Paul Anderson gots nothing on George Romero (resident evil reference).

I just watched the whole series (5 episoes) in one sitting last night and it was awesome! Allright, allright, it's not the Romero type zombies but more the 28 Days Later sort of infected flesh eaters but still this is a REALLY well made mini series that will keep you hooked from the first episode on! 2 thumbs up!

Some concepts are BOUND to be similar - does not mean it copies. There's no point arguing that this is remotely similar to 'The Crazies', due to the fact theres hundreds of zombie/infected post-apocalyptic movies/tv series out there. Saying one copies the other is like saying they all did.

As for television shows, British television is horrendous. I can only think of two shows that were brought to America, and only one that was an actual copy, and that's The Office, which is actually better than the very childish "scream, scream, scream!" Well, that's arguable. I mean zombies adapted intellect in Romero's films and he was one of the first zombie film series to have mass popularity on the zombie film industry. Then the idea of "viral" zombies came along.
Point is, slow zombies will always exist in film, and so will fast zombies. It's two types of films that breed two types of emotion and experience.

Can't wait for amc's second season of the walking dead. Not to put this series down but i kind of like the production value in the walking dead a bit better. side note (way better). reminds me of left 4 dead 2 for some reason (ie georgia and louisiana). Hope next season has a swamp scene or something. Paul Anderson gots nothing on George Romero (resident evil reference).

I just watched the whole series (5 episoes) in one sitting last night and it was awesome! Allright, allright, it's not the Romero type zombies but more the 28 Days Later sort of infected flesh eaters but still this is a REALLY well made mini series that will keep you hooked from the first episode on! 2 thumbs up!
