i like that they are humble enough to realize that this is just starting and in the future we will have it better. anyone interested in this stuff, its worth looking through "eattheweeds" channel on youtube and his website. Incorporating wild edibles in permaculture is a step i don't see, but needs to happen.(cultivate the weeds, don't pull them)
how old is bill now? its so lucky to live and learn from these people in australia, i'm stuck in ireland.....shit farming practices and nobody practicing permaculture or agroforestry.
It is amazing!!!! I am so happy you figured out together all these amazing ways to re-approach our relationship to soil and the earth I love the part about she asked where's the garden
Hah .. I just discovered this vid with BOTH teachers of my PDC 16 months ago. This great clip absolutely captures these 2 blokes essence. Spending 2 weeks with them on PDC was just magic and a true privilege. Georges
I work for 12 years in the US to get the land, but have no money left for a tractor/truck. Most of my life i work as a mechanic or truck driver(,i have some videos of it here)
I was born in this land(part of it was inheritance),I really love the land, but i have no experience on working on it
So maybe you could give me some advice on how to start there with no money?
@trap803 (i know year old)stop thinking so much, plants grow everywhere, buy fruit even, get the seeds going. Fukuoka, the one straw revolution, he is about using what you have, no machinery, it will take a little longer from seeds, but, once you get some crops going, just saving seeds and with a little patience, you'll have a food forest. basic set up, clear the land, plant fruit trees about 20-30 feet apart, and then everything else in between(few years after establishment of trees)
Bill's contribution for a better world is enormous, and Geoff is an excellent teacher, as B. said. I have been learning a lot from them. Much respect!
What a treat to see these two together! Their humbleness, respect for each other & love of their work is awesome to observe. Youtube is loaded w/ very informattive vidoes on both Geoff Lawton & Bill Mollison well worth the time for anyone into farming "way beyond organic." One of my favorites is where Geoff literally greens a dessert...kid you not. Permaculture is modeled after natue & don't use chemical fertilizers or insectisides; soil beomes more fertile. @trap803 A good place to start is the Permacltura America Latina website. You'll find some help there. All the best to you. :-)

@knelledkismet "old guy on the right?"
He's the co-creator of permaculture.
But I'm pretty sure you're just kidding, hope so at least. xD
