Thats right, the L99 can switch over to tapshift manual gears on the steering wheel like F1 cars etc. Or with another position you can put it into Auto/Sports mode or another position for just AUTO. This is a dream of a car, in performance looks and styling.

While I agree to an extent, the V6 they put in these new Camaro's are more powerful than any factory V8 offered in any Camaro prior.

Couple that with 29mpg and the tame image associated with a six cylinder, and you've got a car your wife will let you buy and you can still have some fun in.

you sir are wrong. my 2002 was UNDERRATED at 310hp which is more than a 2010 v6. also SS's were rated at 325hp. funny seeing how a stock ls1 Z28 or SS puts down equal numbers. about 305rwhp

Oh whoops, forgot about those 4th gen "Camaros", I was never a fan of them. They looked like someone took a w-body monte carlo on a drawing board, cut a few slashes in it in, squeezed the headlights and taillights and removed the rear quarter glass and then installed the same power train found in every single other GM performance car and called it a Camaro. Powerful or not, they lacked any character, just like the GTO that came after it.

But other than the 4th gen... my statement stands true.

Well don't take it so personal. The interiors were made with cheap plastic, mechanical components and fasteners are of poor quality.. they cars rattle and jiggle and feel loose. They, as with all other GM cars made from the mid 70's (including mine) to the most recent batch 2008 and up, are not built very well. I still love my car but I can admit that when compared with a properly assembled car, mine is a piece of shit.
