I don't agree with everything that Francesa says, but compared to Raissman, he's a godsend. Raissman is a hack who has his targets - Francesa, the Yankees, MSG - and never lets go of grudges. It's like Lupica constantly writing stories about the Yankees' payroll all the while giving them backhanded compliments.

The biggest reason why I side with Russo's version of events, is because in the 20 years I listened to Mike and The Maddog....Dog never once contradicted himself, or changed his tune on any subject discussed on the show! Unlike Francesa, who in all his years on the FAN, has flipflopped and contradicted himself endless times in 20 years! Francesa's biggest negative, is his cowardly interviewing style. He can't seem to match his tough talk before an interview, with tough questions during it!

Mike is a shitty radio personality. he may know a lot of stats but he has the worst showmanship in the history of radio. he has so much dead air and i can't count how many times he has yelled at his own crew (on air) for tech issues. a real host would cut to break instead of sounding like a blow-hard, macho asshole. only to pat himself on the back later after chewing out a fan with a different opinion.

I am sure any person with a brain knows that most likely Mike is the reason Dog is no longer on FAN. I know Mike keeps saying that he does better than Dog solo, but he seems to only compare Dog's show Saturday and his show on Sunday(NFL). He never compares their solo numbers(ratings) during the weekdays(1 - 6:30 P.M.) when i would bet alot that Dog did better than Mike. I know Mike is trying to defend himself, but Dog is definitely a better listen solo-wise; although they are best together.
