I used to watch this show all the time. I've recently begun reading Harlan Ellison shorts and this remains among my top 5 favorites of his stories. I'm glad you uploaded this; however, the sound is really low; I can barely hear it. But this is one of two things that I actually liked Bruce Willis in.
This is my wacky interpretation- The guy in the bar is the old "Moonlighting" Bruce Willis, the guy in the Apartment is the "Die Hard" Bruce Willis, theyre forced into a battle to be the real Bruce Willis (will add more to this after seeing the next parts)
and freemason 13 numberoligy this is a calling card in a sense if you are in on the info or out im studying every second of youtube for the secret hidden message
Thank you so much for posting this! I have never forgotten this episode because I thought it was so well portrayed by Bruce Willis - the disbelief, fear, despair . . .can you imagine calling home and YOU answer? An unforgettable episode - and great acting from Mr. Willis!
Ah, those asshole yuppies of the 80's! This was my favorite ep from the 80's Zone, right before the Stopwatch (name forgotten). The 80's Zone should have been given more credit. Obviously nowhere nearly as good as the original, but a zillion x better than the goofy crap now.
The subtitles ARE annoying, but it's just because they are not in my language. I prefer subtitles much more than dubbing. Here in Belgium everything is subtitled; it's much better than seeing an English or American movie dubbed in French or German. Imagine John Wayne speaking German! Or having the lovely voices of Laurence Olivier, Jeremy Irons or Alan Rickman dubbed by another actor!
New theme music was composed by Jerry and performed by the `Dead! Gotta love it, drums and space unleashed.......hehehe..............

Japanese subtitles- quelle postmodern!
I think it adds an interesting frisson to the piece. It almost makes it feel more relevant and contemporary than it actually is.
People who are bitching about them probably just don't like the written word no matter what language it is...

"Yeah, how come the subtitles weren't in English? "
They uploaded a foreign copy. Look around on the internets for a good set. I found all three colored seasons that began in 1985 on a torrent site.
Took a few months to download.

"Klondike 5" Didn't people stop using that kind of phone number about 50 years ago?

Yeah that is what I thought. How would you dial Klondike 5. Won't you have to talk to an operator?
