  • Why when i listen to the journalists talking about legalization , they always call it pot? if they are talking about a prostitute they dont call her a whore. ITS CANNABIS!

  • this is wrong that nigros, mexicans and orientos are gonna rape white woman. this is upside down statement. our history tells us that white people have had enslaved black, take mexican land and suffer indian. so who created racism? in God noone is better or beautiful then other.

  • marijuana being illegal is similar to underage drinking the difference underage drinking (along with drinking in general) is dangerous. people are gonna do it regardless but do people really need to go to jail? when you have weed illegal than people who smoke sell or cultivate marijuana are now made enemy's by the police and DEA which makes everyone hate cops. it makes people react with a rebellion mind set, and why shouldn't we.

  • @slickmasta12

There is absolutely nothing dangerous with a 19 year old having a craft brew as he finishes his college schoolwork and goes to bed

  • stupid ol tard

  • portugal legalized ALL drugs, and they are doing way better than us, AND their HIV rates are dropping. the netherlands are closing down prisons, and the US has the highest incarceration of any nation, higher than soviet russia, 25% of the ENTIRE WORLD PRISON POPULATION! THAT IS FUCKING OUTRAGEOUS.

And guess what? in this shit economy, one of the only growing industries is private prisons. that's right, here people make money by putting us in cages. and the corrupt judges get the kickbacks.

  • @Robstailey do you know what you just said? you said portugal is in bettershape the the UNITED STATES OF FUCKIN AMERICA, our gdp is 15 trillion, theirs is 250 billion. im all for legalizing marijuana, there are many legitamate medical uses in raw or processed forms, and its really not that bad. but legalizing all drugs is fucking retarded, people cant control themselves

  • @KingSlimjeezy

you can't compare two country's economies by their size, portugal doesn't have nearly the population. what i meant is their rate of addiction is down and more people are going into voluntary rehab treatment than ever before, and of course way fewer people are going to jail.

do you do heroin? no. would you if it was legal tomorrow? nope. but as it stands, the dealers are selling to kids who don't know better. dealers don't card, and they don't sue. they shoot.

  • @Robstailey im sorry but legalizing heroine is a dumb idea no matter how you try to justify it

  • @KingSlimjeezy i agree fuck legalization of drugs only cannabis nothin more period Truthfully I wish alcohol could be illegal its simply to harmful Canada will legalize cannabis regardless of the states..

  • @DankHydroBudz if you think only marijuana needs to be legaal then you are just as hypocritical as our federal government. we as human beings have the right to do whatever we choose. and if we are only harming ourselfs who cares. and no i don't do anything but marijuana, but i have respect for other's decisions

  • @KingSlimjeezy he is saying portugal is doing better than us as far as humanity goes retard. not their fucking budget. not everything is about money!

  • @prisonstories Bullshit! America has done way more for humanity and is the most humane nation on earth. We wrote the rules of humanity for the western world.

  • @KingSlimjeezy really? then why do we keep fucking with other countries that we have no buisness in in the first place

  • @prisonstories believe it or not thats a perfect example OF our humanity. No other country in history has had such strict rules of engagement, cared so much about not killing civilians, and invested so heavily in weapons that limit if not eliminate collateral damage. just an example, they have a 747 outfitted with a giant plasma laser so that they can take down a target without scratching a child a few ft away. if the goal was to kill and not care, we could carpet bomb them

  • Comment removed

  • @prisonstories whether we should be in the war or not is an entirely different subject i will not delve into, but any country that puts that much effort into a "more humane" war must be great in peacetime, and from what i can remember, we are. When portugal fought wars, it was slash and burn, take no prisoners, kill the childeren so we dont have to worry about vengance.

  • @KingSlimjeezy my point is, that america itself does not stand for the laws and pride that it once did. our federal government doesn't care about it's civilians or other people in general. they are only concerned about money, keeping control, and power. so if you can't realize that just by what they are doing to the rest of the world, then i feel sorry for you.

  • @prisonstories thats simply not true. Half the people want one thing, half the other. so whatever happens one side is upset.

  • @KingSlimjeezy keep your blind faith then like i said. live your life as nicely as possible bc, mark my words, the united states of america is in for some serious shit if they continue to be hypocrites and not legalize. really if they would make alcohol and tobacco illegal again, i'd shut up, but until they do i will continue to call them what they are hypocrites.

  • @prisonstories okey dokey

  • @KingSlimjeezy

    Youre fucking retarded.

"America has done way more for humanity and is the most humane nation on earth."

Guantanamo Bay, Illegal war in Iraq, still has a death penalty (most countries in the world don't), Supporting deadly dictators in various countries around the world, Highest prison rate in the entire world, being a bully in world politics, half the people in it are fucking retarded.

  • @bellatrixthechicken

yeah before america there was no such thing as a nation with universal human rights. it was just a theory that Hobbes and other philosophers wrote about; information available only to the elite.

I never said we were perfect, but compare our entire history and you will find that we indeed are the fairest nation of them all

  • @KingSlimjeezy there is a difference between was and is. In the modern world the US is NOT the most humane and fairest nation of them all. >100 years ago perhaps but not now. This is not the US my ancestors fought for and would probably try to instigate a revolution again.

Also, the US was not the only republic at the time, UK had a parliament and there was the united provinces before napoleon conquered them.

  • come on Amsterdam is way safer then America and they legalize marijuana.

  • OK lets compare pot to seat belts.

  • the people that say marijuana is a "gateway drug" defnitly have never smoked it

  • DEA doesn't want it legalized for obvious reasons being that many of them would probably lose their jobs since they don't have weed smokers to bust all the time.

  • I didn't understand that Richard Weinblatt guy. He doesn't make sense to me.

  • all you goonies out there destroying nature need to get a real life and leave the farmer, the plant, and the most resourseful tree that god put on this earth alone!

  • 0:32. Why is that wannabe soldier in the background trying to look all hard core and focused? Drop the act, dipshit. It's a news conference, not the nuremberg trials. No one cares if you have a tiny cock.

  • I cant believe in 2010 morons still think that pot is dangerous. LOL Just smoke some and find out for yourself.

  • legalize marijuana it could save so many people 1 in 30 persons are in the system from the unjust laws stop locking good people and destroying lives like a witch hunt its not right and we all know it

  • propenganda say YES TO PROP 19 THEY FEED US LIES

  • why did they use the fattest, most unhealthy person they could find to argue for legalization?

  • its funny how the opponent of legalization never says the percentage of calls they get for marijuana related violence.

  • The guy who wants to legalize is thinking in reality,

The guy who is against it, is thinking in a brain washed speech and failed miserably at the point of the argument.

  • SO the guy against it is about 142 years old....really really shocking. Sarcasm, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

  • you'll never stop it - its mans natural herbal inheritance that gives relief to the suffering, actually cures, and enhances the living experience of many- Free us of these liars and tryants who have destroyed civil rights and persecute and arrest innocents just to fill their jails and courts- remember Freedom used to be what America was all about until they declared war on a non toxic, safe and earth friendly Herb and TREE that helped build Ameria! And bring back Industrial hemp!

  • Only if you're a bag of Doritos!

  • did that guy run to the studio?

  • They have no scientific evidence to backup their claims that legalizing Marijuana would be a disaster, figures.

  • The DEA profits to much from it being E legal , We need to get rid of The DEA.

  • We are already at the end of the pathway to disaster. We need to take a more peaceful and humane path away from it. The same old lies keep getting reiterated by the same people, who profit from prohibition.

  • such a short segment, what a fucking joke. the pro legalization guy didnt even get to say nothin.

  • what the fuck is this guy talking about. he want people just to stop liking it. thats called the DRUG WAR and hasnt been working you fucking ass

  • his seatbelt analogy is retarded. the only way his seatbelt analogy would make any sense would be if he was trying to get people to use vaporizers to be safer, not quiting smoking to be safer.

  • how can the second guy literally use the "slippery slope" as his argument against marijuana legalization? "slippery slope" is a textbook LOGICAL FALLACY. why do reporters even let people say that shit? u can argue against anything using slippery slope defences, its total bullshit.

  • old fool. "path to disaster" absurd. everyone in california who wants to smoke is already smoking. and were not all being killed in pot car crashes. fucking gay. the only differences the legalization would make are lower pot prices, less money for cartels, and less jail time and fines for good americans. LEGALIZE IT

  • Google "Portugal 2001 Decriminalization of Drugs"

  • was the dea guy high,,, with the stuttering and incoherent thought

maybe a joint will cure his shakes

  • free the plant then your self

  • weed should be mandatory for all public officials.and politicians and there would be no war

  • Legalize it all, not just pot.

    And fuck that DEA administrator!

  • the corporations who control our government and media want marijuana kept illegal to keep worker productivity high which keeps corporate dividends high for the billionaire class and keeps gdp high which finances the military to fight wars in countries where international corporations are not allowed, thereby expanding wealth and power for international corporations and their billionaire owners and investors.

  • Havin trouble breathing their Stephen? Smoke a lil Cough that shit out :)

  • NISCHE LISCHPE

  • The DEA don't want to legalize it because they'll be out of a job.

  • Decriminalized all drugs NOW!

  • Take away peter basinger's Tobaco ,Liquer and Porn and see if he feels the same about that!

  • Take away the demand?! ROFLMAO

I would also like to add you dont have to have a law to make marijuana legal/taxable, just take all the drug laws off the books. That way its decriminalized.

  • Take away the demand?! ROFLMAO

  • this "Slippery Slope" 2:35 Nobody is talking about legalizing Methamphetamine and Heroin! We've been hearling about legalizing marijuana in this country for 50 years. Yet i've never once heard any one arguing to legalize the hard drugs.

  • @OnThatPowder I agree. But at the same time I do think that hard drugs should be decriminalized and treated as a public health issue as opposed to a criminal issue. What would happen to society if suburban housewives hooked on sleeping pills, or stressed out drunks were treated the same way as a crackhead? People who are strung out on coke or heroin have a problem that the correctional system just can't fix. The money spent on incarcerating them would be better spent on treating their addiction.

  • There are more interventions for people who drink then people who smoke weed. In fact, a marijuana intervention would be hilarious. "All of the others in the commune are really concerned. I mean Dammit Moon Child... You're always hogging the bud! You leave your Grateful Dead and Phish LP's lying all over the commune. And you waste way too much fresh water with your frequent showering..." "Now pass the jay and go feed the chickens... It's my turn to zone out man..."

  • they fail to see the size of the population that smokes pot...which would mean there are millions of Americans who are crack heads, heroine addicts, pain pill junkies (etc),who all have stable jobs and family lives, who pay taxes on time,vote...man they really are stupid aren't they?

  • the only way I see pot ruining someone's life is if they get arrested for it. What does that say?

It's not like they're arresting people for pot for THEIR protection, or ANYONE's protection for that matter. They literally arrest people so they pay into the system somehow, but this is harmful for our economy. Why fire someone from their job if pot isn't getting in the way of it? How many jobs out there are lost, lives ruined, and bank accounts depleted, all in the name of pot!?

    LEGALIZE IT

  • I've heard about the "pot." One time I saw a man snort a line of it, and he went on a killing spree, but not before ripping his own skin off his head.

Is that what you hippies want? A bunch of people running around with no skin on their heads, eyeballs all exposed, maybe some bone, running around murdering white BABIES!?

SICK! IT'S JUST SICK! The dope is Satan's drug!

  • Slippery slope my ass. Legalization is the only answer - stop being a scared old man. End the bullshit and legalize it already.

  • i really hope they legalize it. The last argument is thier age old argument which doesn't hold water.

  • The DEA doesn't want it legal is because 80% of them will have to go find real jobs.

  • @xetlive The drugdealers don't want it legal either. Then they'd have to get a real job too.

  • @xetlive lol if it was legal commercial pot farmers would go out of business

  • @xetlive i hear the food service industry is always hiring and they have about the required education. high school...

  • "In any civilized society, it is every citizen's responsibility to obey just laws. But at the same time, it is every citizen's responsibility to disobey unjust laws." - Martin Luther King Jr.

Just Say Now!! Please vote YES on prop19. We Canadians are waiting for some good news. You will be leading the way towards sanity.

  • What disasters are NOT facing NOW!!!???? With it illegal yet? Why are cigarettes and alcohol still idea then???? WHY?

  • I'm not trying to be mean but that one guy was partially retarded, for real.

  • you can screw a dirty whore in nevada, but you can't smoke a joint? who the hell do you think you are, effin fruitcake

  • He actually used the words slippery slope in his argument.

    I will always demand marijuana...

  • Whether or not it is legal people will be using drugs, driving under the influence of drugs, and supporting underground sale of drugs, if the drug war is to stop the illegal sale of drugs onto our streets, why not take the drugs out of the hands of the drug dealers by making it legal, if everyone can grow their own marijuana, there is no more underground market. Isn't that the goal of the drug war?

  • seat belt laws piss me the hell off if i want to take a risk its my damn choice

  • @GodAthie Move to NH

  • i dont know why people are so against weed when theres still ciggarettes and liquor out there. Both are extremely deadly and harmful to the body, but the big companies like their money....

  • we should look into fast food prohibition

  • Safety on the highways is jeopardized more by cell phone and texting and old people than by pot. Lets outlaw the elderly from driving and criminalize cell phones and texting if you actually cared about safety you old prick, and by the way surrender your divers license as you are to dangerous to drive...I mean fairs fairs as being older is a gate way condition to death and thats not safe on the highways either right old timer?

  • the guy against is a dipshit. are you fucking serious dude? i start smoking weed and i'm gonna end up chasing the dragon? smoking rocks and mainlining heroin because im smoking a plant?

YOU WILL NEVER REDUCE THE DEMAND FOR MARIJUANA.

It makes food, clothes, oil, plastics, paper, rope and it makes you feel as good as I do right now, and thats never a bad thing my friends.

Fatty is right but he sounds like he needs some fucking AIR!

  • WHEN are these idiots going to stop with this "it's gateway drug" BULLSHIT??? That antiquated way of thinking has been debunked time, and time again!!

  • search LEAP - Law. Enforcement. Against. Prohibition. Cops Say Legalize Drugs!

  • Marijuanas cousin Hemp is is a major threat to the oil, chemical and plastics monopoly. The other major losers if it was legalized would be the police business, the prison industrial complex and the pharmapoison industry.

  • @Cytacon Absolutely Cytacon, it's as simple as that.

  • Decriminalize marijuana. No legal BS stuff.

    watch?v=Q5AV9Rtrut4

Arizona DEA admits marijuana is a CASH CROP for the drug cartels. With this CASH drug cartels buy the hard drugs like cocaine, heroin, meth, etc

Also banks benefit from these drug cartels money laundering. Bank of America and Wichovia. And in the CIA has benefit from Cocaine sales in the past so no cash crop may mean less for the CIA if they're continuing the Cocaine Import Agency.

  • 0:25

Well, if Andy Rooney disagrees, then I'm against Prop 19

  • Alcohol is legal, but it's not allowed while driving or at work. The same rules would apply to marijuana, and let's not forget, there is not one or very few cases of auto accidents, shootings, domestic abuse, child abuse and all the other crimes that we can relate to alcohol that are or will be caused by marijuana use. There is no slippery slope! Jackasses! More tax money and less crimes, this is what the legalization of marijuana would do.

  • The first guys argument is total shit. Legalizing Marijuana will not put drug cartel's out of business. Sure they will lose a lot of money but there are plenty of other illegal drugs they can and sell.

  • Holy crap, who puts these idiots in a place of power and responsibility. I guarantee you, the risks of legalizing a fucking plant are way less than putting people like Peter Basinger in a position where their opinion counts for something.

Only criminals benefit from it being illegal, that includes government.

  • Who's the white hair lying guy? No one has shown it to be a dangerous drug or even a drug (in the conventional toxic sense) at all. It helps guys in outfits get over themselves and think real thoughts instead of this "knowledge of good and evil" nonsense.. However, on the other hand, the "good and evil beliefs" create alot of meaningless corrupt enforcement jobs and put citizens in prison. The thing to be scared of is; that people will grow their own and learn agriculture.

  • The cop against legalization is defintely on the take...

OR have no bloody cle about what his talking about

  • Is anyone out there aware that since we made our move into Afghanistan, the Afghans have had RECORD opium harvests and heroin has made a comeback in our schools and on our streets. Do you really think this is a coincidence?

  • The Drug War IS the disaster.

  • On one side this is all about Freedom. On the other side you have government expanding its reach into your Freedoms and expanding their power.

Law enforcement has been tossing good people in jail for years for this, it's time we stop them.

  • PASS IT, legalize it.

  • Comparing marijuana to seatbelts.... You fucking fail moron!

  • The legalization of pot IS A PATHWAY TO DISASTER FOR COPS,LAYERS,JUDGES AND MURDERING SCUMBAGS FIGHTING AND KILLING ONE ANOTHER ON OUR STILL UNFIXED SOUTHERN BORFER. The U.S. has been stealing people's homes and property away from them all the while hypocritical cops and drug trafficking turds s. of the border have been coming off. "JUST SAY NO" just say no to a washed up congress that cant get shit done. Say yes to the leg of pot and no to the blood soaked profit margin created over 30 yrs ago.

  • legalize it

  • War on drugs i such a waste of time and money!!!!!!

  • there gonna start chasing the dragon lol

  • @djgiga Thats opium... just so you know.

  • Legalization of Marijuana is a pathway to peace.

  • I like how they get someone super old that can barley breathe to be the one in favor for legalization lol The mainstream media sucks.

  • How are they supposed to fund the DEA if they can't steal and sell the property of people they find with an once of pot.?

  • Of course the various DEAs are going to be against it; their jobs depend on it! I don't think I'll be listening to the guys who have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.

  • POLICE UNIONS WANT TO KEEP IT ILLEGAL - THEY VOTE FOR THAT - THEY DEMAND THEIR MEMBERS PUSH FOR THIS TO BE ILLEGAL SO THEY CAN MAKE MORE MONEY ON JAILS - THE USA PUTS MORE PEOPLE IN PRISON FOR STUPID CRAP THEN ANY OTHER NATION ON EARTH

ALL OTHER NATIONS WHO ARE DEALING WITH THIS REALIZE IT'S A LOSING GAME - BUT THE ONLY ONE WHO IS WANTING IT ILLEGAL IS THOSE WHO MAKE MONEY BECAUSE IT IS = THE DRUG CARTEL MAKE TRILLIONS - SO LETS TAKE THAT CROP MONEY AND LET MEDICAL PATIENTS USE THIS HEALTH TOOL

  • This is such a scare tactic it's ridiculous.

  • @IranContraScumDid911 Make pot legal & cops can spend more time getting rid of coke, crack & meth, as well as Ecstasy & Ketamine. I've got what seems to be a meth or crack lab operating beneath me 15-24 hours a day. The fumes make me sick. I pray that the cops will finally bust them (they've been told). Living over them is more than a nightmare; it's torture.

  • Are u serious....Were not baby sitting people...let people do whatever they want..if they commit a crime they goto jail..If they want to smoke crack who cares...How dare this stupid ass government monitor grown individuals...They don't want to legalize because they make too much money illegally from it..phuckin cowards...

  • Disaster for criminals

  • Slippery Slop WTF dose that mean? I'd like to force feed Richard a few big bong hits.

  • Hey, Mr. Police Man, thanks, but no thanks. I don't want my paradigm shifted. What a load of lame old bullshit he spewed, going so far as to compare my desire for a spliff to someone's desire to drive without a seat belt. And his gateway drug crap is just so tired and with zero proof to back it up. LEAVE ME ALONE, COP! Ever hear of personal freedom and liberty? I guess not.

Oh, and not to mention, I'll bet he doesn't get many domestic disturbance pot calls. My guess is zero.

  • @freedomsfart I just said the same thing on CBC Radio! They had "experts" dividing us about Fox News North, and the freak pastor, when our grief over 9-11 begs to "expose" the truth, and leave us alone! Fate is HIStory now.

Nurse our planet back from being bludgeoned nearly to death by FREAKS N ZOMBIES? Move over chemtrails. Decriminalize this biblical herb, and empower communities to share home grown medicine, protein, paper, fiber, plastic, and peace. The future of humanity? Priceless.

  • legalize it

  • Haha, chasing the dragon! This is not opium we're talking about. I can't believe the stupidity of that guy.

  • Yeah, a pathway for disaster for alot of people making alot of money in the underground economy!

  • Maijuana is big business for the cops, more people are arrested for marijuana than all violent crime combined, but did not hurt anybody. They would have to lay off officers .... what would happen if a top crime ended? Marijuana is no more dangerous than coffee. It makes me nervous, so I pass. But I do not believe the laws stop the crime, people do it anyways. Who told the government they have the right to control what you grow or do on your own land or in your home? Legalize

  • @IranContraScumDid911

santa cruz police were popping false positives on weed test, incarcerating people that didnt even smoke weed!

  • BTW; thanx dude for uploading this interesting variety of vidz!

  • LMFAO@ prohibition morons. "They" don't need to tax medical marijuana either.

Wait till they increase the level of non natural deadly chemicals like they did with the "fire safer" cigarettes. Bet on it.

  • @bigc028282 you could just grow it yourself..... idiot

  • LOL!

Prohibition has FAILED! As well as it failed on alcohol....

It only serves the prison industry.

Nobody wants crack or herioin legalized and these would perish completely when youngsters could give it a try WHITHOUT getting in contact with criminals interested to sell them more addicting drugs!

  • I got a spliff for the former D.A.... he looks like he could use it.

  • Legalize it... hang anyone who opposes our freedom and liberty.

  • I'm so tired of that damn "slippery slope" and "gateway" stuff. The over use of cliche is the earmark of an under-used mind.

  • @grizzzlyjoe ...Schlippery Schlope!

    Here, take my hanky.

(oops.. did I go too far?)

  • Comment removed

  • FEAR! FEAR!!! FEAR!!!!!!!

Asking the DEA if marijuana is bad is like asking the Pope if Catholicism is a good religion.

  • got a response for ya CSJ

    :)

  • somebody got an oxygen mask for dude @ 1:20

  • The DEA could lose a lot of funding if they can't enforce marijuana.

So naturally they're opposed to it. For this reason their opinion is worthless.

  • So smoking marijuana is more dangerous than drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes? I don't think so. Marijuana will be bad for me as I hate the smell, which is more potent than the smell of lit nicotine. If they were to prohibit the use of cigarettes, alcohol and marijuana then I'd understand, but to legalize the use and consumption of one drug while criminalizing the use and consumption of another is pure hypocrisy. Either legalize marijuana, or prohibit the use of alcohol and cigarettes.

  • Legalize, tax it.

The savings from keeping people out of jail is a huge savings too.

I think some control freaks want to keep it illegal.

The logical fallacy of the slippery slope fails to justify keeping the substance illegal.

Let the cops fight real crimes, not the casual use of marijuana.

  • there is no chasing the dragon with pot ! you can only get so high off pot, once you get to your peak you can smoke more but it will not get you any higher, the anti pot guy is full of shit and just spewing anti pot propaganda he has no clue what pot does to a user and i think he is just a out right liar!

  • ") ... I call bullshit!!

  • Disaster... Yeah yeah yeah, they all say that. Unfortunately, they never say why. And that because they know they are wrong and they have absolutely ZERO evidence to back up their claims. Cali, do the right thing. Don't disappoint me. Legalize it, bitches.

  • If ex-cops oppose it,they are not stupid. They are just protecting their money.

  • lol, the guy calls smoking pot "chasing the dragon"
