Just gotta jump in and let em charge you..they always lower their heads so what i do is let them run between my legs and grab the ears and then drop my body weight down on their neck and they just fall and cant move their head at all.

Hunting with dogs is thousands of years old. The hog is finished off (killed) with a knife or lance. This is the original way to hunt hogs.
It takes real guts to approach a big hog with just a knife and a few dogs.
