I played this on the Spectrum and it's still not been matched in terms of capturing the blind panic of the film, the map was really difficult to navigate I had penciled in most of the room numbers but getting back was just as difficult as getting there in the first place.
@Concreteowl It is hard game, but there is solution to manage to do it. You have to be fast and save more and more ammo. So. You need 3-4 soldiers whom you move to the queens chamber. In room 248 You need luck and start to shoot the queen and the biomechanical mucus. Be careful becasue you can meet more queens and it is able to kill you at the first attack independent of the hearts. If you clear all the mucus you get a massage to get back to the MTOB (room 1). Only one man must stay at this room
@Funny653 The end is very strange and I waited others. If you send 3-4 persons to chambers it is 100% they will die. Too much ammo must be used in the room 248 and you are very far from the armoury room. You will run out of ammo. The situation is harder when 12 minutes later the light switched off at the whole base. Do not worry, you will se the creatures but not easily. You can avoid the darkness if you clear the room no 174 and 176 and ruined the door lock room no 173 and 175,
@Funny653 and clear all the mucus in the genegrator room and the room 176 and after you must shoot the door lock. So it is impossible to get to room and the aliens can not cover the wall with mucus. The light will be ok. In case of this you will lose time and more and more aliens will be protecting the way to the chambers. More and more secretion will cover the doors. I managed to finish the games with 3 people without shot. Using of map is important. :)
This is just amazing...since I played the 8bit version back in the days on my C64 I ALWAYS wished for someone to come up with an enhanced version of this game! Congrats mate, you did an ACE job!!! Adding a windowed mode would be perfect though. Keep up the great work, cheers from germany!
@kakoroto yes it is a good game.. :D but as you say, you never meet the queen, well i have but thats only happend twice :D was hard but im sure ill kill her next time! :D

It could be possible to remake the earlier Alien game in this style too.
I loved playing this on the Spectrum it was one of the most intense game experiences I ever had.
