I saw a dragonfly eat a bug like that once when I was in the 7th grade and it looked just like that, except I couldn't make out what kind of bug it was. It looked like a clack speck.

winged ants aka spawning queen and king ants are great for feeding mantids and spiders. wing muscles and fat in the abdomen.

Film one while it's getting a beetle (one about it's size)...
Because not so long ago, I saw a dragonfly land on the back of a beetle, try to chew on it, and then flew off with the beetle in it's legs.
