  • looking at Goebbels kids, thinking...howcome could someone kill own kids...

  • Germans before the War were not that violent, in fact they were very religious. They praise both God & Jesus Christ and believed in Christmas. Until 'Jews' came into view.

  • All German Generals during WW1 & WW2 were the BEST of the BEST until Hitler came into view.

  • Rommel believed that hitler should be placed on trial not assassinated, however he knew of the July 20th plot but was not a part of it.

  • This was a man who was a true German. He was smart, true, and courteous. I would lay my life down for him, Germany under his command would be one that withstood the test of time.

General Erwin Rommel, I salute you. May you forever rest knowing that YOU, were a German embodiment. Sometimes I sit around and wonder, what if... he led the Germans.

  • Ed harris would be a perfect actor for him - they are very simlar

  • @JSLegoMaster LOL, very true. Ed Harris was bad ass in the movie The Rock.

  • The shot where he walks out of the house holding the kids' hands is priceless.

  • Great film of a brilliant soldier, regardless of the country he was fighting for. It is unfortunate that his unfitting demise was brought about by his own people -

  • he is dead, turned to shit and eaten by maggots! dead ,dead ,dead as if he fuckin never lived.just dead.

  • @deloreanvw We will all be dead some time, turned to shit and eaten by maggots!

The important thing is that not all of us will have our name spoken for more than 70 years after our death.

  • "Real Nazi's Live, Fight, and Die out of Love, Devotion, and Loyalty to Germany and it's People, Not for Racism or beliefs of superiority. Hitler's worst quality was his personal side policie's of Racism and Beliefs of Superiority/Inferiority, But his best quality was the unfathomable love and devotion that he had for Germany and it's people"

  • Erwin Rommel, Truly one of the Most honorable commanders World wide in history. He was a master mind tactician and strategist. He fought with much devotion for his people and country. He disobeyed all Racist/ execution Policies. He treated All captured allied soldiers with respect and fair treatment. And yet he was forced to commit suicide by the allies who would otherwise harm his family. People need get out of their fantasy world where they think Nazism is "evil"

  • @ForgottenWolf88

Are you a history revisionist? Rommel was implicated in the July, 1944 plot on Hitler's life--fairly or unfairly. He was the the choice of a court martial or suicide. He chose suicide to spare his family the embarrasment of a court martial. Where do you come off that the allies forced him to commit suicide?

  • Can somebody tell me the soundtrack in the video piano play? need the sound for some project gonna talk about The greatest generall ever E.Rommel

  • @albanian098

Sebastian Larsson - Into The Dark

  • @Syntage88 thx

  • So are those children his? For some reason I thought he only had a son.

  • @TheLieutenantKnows

No, they are Goebbels' children I think.

  • @Syntage88

If they are, than this footage is of the healthiest adult contact these children probably ever had.

  • A Great and Honorable Man

Today, military commanders do not deserve respect

  • 1:00 Such beautiful children...It makes me cry.

  • Rommel was not a nazi. A god can't be politically correct.

  • A great strategist...Maybe the best of WWII and also a great man.. And as Churchill said: "We have a very daring and skillful opponent against us, and, may I say across the havoc of war, a great general."

  • Erwin Rommel what a great General, he commited suicide because he knew he would lost the trial, he was a man of honor and knew the reality, he just wanted to save Germany. Respected by hiw own and by the allies. I dont think he was a nazi he is the greatest general of all time

  • What a fine General. Pity he had to commit suicide for his and family's honor.

  • @abhijitkaore Not only honor but life aswell.

  • He could be a Nazi but certainly he was not a fascist.

  • If it wasn't for Rommel, more Allied troops would have survive the Normandy invasions...DARN!!!

  • what song is this?

  • @Bratzgirl1996 You should dislike Rommel then because he was everything but a nazi.

  • Was Rommel up there with generals like Patton, Macarthur, or Goering? Or was he in a class of his own? i'm just curious.

  • @epicwinface Rommel and Patton were enemies, but both respected eachother. I'd say he's about with Patton. Rommel could have won everything, had Hitler given him the supplies for his troops. Though Rommel would be proud to see that Hitler is no more, and to see how Germany is doing today. Look up General Pattons son, there's a funny story about him meeting Rommel's son (I think it was his son) and they became great friends.

  • i love hitler and i love the thrird reich and nazi and the party

  • What's the music?

  • @TSAR373 /watch?v=Z18Ff9iXh-Y&feature=related

  • @331178jesus Thank you ^_^

  • There is a great book about Rommel called "The Knights Cross"...it really gives you a different perspective of the German Military...and man, Rommel was a beast....everyone forgets what he did in WW1 as a leader...he was pretty much Winters, the leader from Band of Brothers. Rommel was a great warrior

  • HE SHOULD'VE LED THE GERMAN ARMY, INSTEAD OF HITLER, THE CRUEL SON OF A BITCH!!!!

  • I don.t think he was one of the best he was the best, the last of big tactics Generals.Field Marshal Erwin Rommel was not a Nazi.He fought for honor and glory of his Fatherland

  • Lets get it right, Rommel was a nazi. Nothing great about him, he may have won some battles. When he came up against Monty he wasn't so good, Monty hammered him. Like all nazis he ran away, nothing good about him. Pity he didn't live to stand trial for war crimes with the rest of the bunch.

  • @kenalf You are retarded.

  • @kenalf I would like to point out your obvious bias and misinformation, but I think it would be better if you just learn your fucking history. Many of the germans who fought in WW2 did not agree with Hitler's views, many of them just wanted to protect their families and defend their country. Erwin Rommel was one of them. He even helped with the plot to assassinate Hitler. You make a misinformed statement and obnoxiously claim that you are right. You sir, are a giant dickhead. Good day to you.

  • This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  • @Foxfire0925 And his Soldiers...

  • RIP Herr Rommel :(

  • Great general, shame on Magda.

WWll was full of atrocities, if Jesus was ever coming back, he woulda done so in the 40's for sure.

  • The best General in the world

  • WHEN WE THINK OF WORLD WAR TWO, ALOT OF US THINK OF D-DAY!

WHEN WE THINK OF D-DAY, WE THINK OF A MASSACRE BY THE GERMANS.

THIS BLOOD-BATH ON JUNE 6TH WAS, AND ONLY COULD OF KILLED SO MANY AMERICANS, BY ROMMEL, R.I.P ERWIN ROMMELL. im australian, but I I reckon hes pretty damn awesome! :)

  • @allfilm100

Rommel was in germany during the D-DAY otherwise D-DAY would have been a failure .

  • @NasriTheNewKing Well, sorta, if they had listened to Rommel about keeping the Panzer units up close to the beaches instead of keeping them back. The landing's would have been a massacre. One panzer division almost pushed Juno beach and one of the British beaches back into the sea. But they were kept back so that the Germans could identify exactly were the landing would be and then move them up, this didn't happen because of allied air power which Rommel warned against. :)

  • @allfilm100 slow the fuck down bro. It wasn't Rommel that caused Omaha to be such a blood bath. Go read a book on it.

But if Rommel had gotten his way on keeping the Panzer units up on the beaches the whole landing would have been a blood bath.

Talking like you did just fucking degrades Rommel, he was an honorable man and had respect for the Allies. He would want to win, but not slaughter the allied soldiers if it could be avoided.

  • I'm french but i have great respect for Rommel ! It was a very great man an General !!

  • Rommel was one of the greatest military strategist. He is my favourite Field Marshal

  • Rommel has my respect. RIP Desert fox

  • RIP Erwin Rommel.

  • my grandma would have been about that age she was born 38' i think been gone almost 2 yrs now..

  • The name of the song is Into The Dark (also "A Sad Piano Song") by Sebastian Larsson

  • The footage is interesting, showing cruel Nazis living a normal life. Thank god they are dead!

  • @Indoscott ROMMEL WAS NOT A NAZI

  • @ultrasupertrunk90 : But Magda was a fanatic !

  • @ultrasupertrunk90

He was a Nazi. So was Oscar Schindler. Rommel was everything the National Socialist party SHOULD have been.

  • @Indoscott Erwin Rommel wasn't a nazi though.

  • Long live Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. the greatest General and man that ever lived

  • @richie1232 What's great about defeat!

  • @flamezealous i don't see how defeat comes into play. the only reason Rommel ever lost because anyone higher than him (namely hitler) wouldn't let him have free reign over the army. He was in my opinion a tactical genious

  • @richie1232 The most eloquent language cannot redeem the man, he was decisively beaten n run out of Africa! His probes into strong enemy country did him in; he was good but not above tactical blunder, his bold moves left him with nothing but a spent force.

  • @flamezealous i will be humble and admit that some of his tactics were a bit crazy... but if Hitler had followed his tactics at Normandy we never would have taken the beach.

  • @richie1232 Danger Close! The carnage would have been three times more fearsome, I mean, the allied air forces could have turned those beaches into hades for real.

  • @flamezealous clearly you aren't a student of warfare. No matter how strong an air power is it can't win a battle. Rommel knew this and he used that fact to his advantage. His proposed "fortifications" of Normandy were near flawless against AIR and ground attacks.

  • Comment removed

  • @richie1232

.... to continue... You need 'boots on the ground' to truly secure any battleground. Rommel is my idea of a perfect soldier. Even when dealt the crappy hands he was at the end... he still did his duty.

  • @00Billy Amen to that my friend

  • @AryanMede See, your teachers lie ;D If your looking for great innovations , germany has and always will be a great source :)

  • @dachziegel17 Thats why the whole world drives mercedes, and bmw s. Best engineers in the world.

  • And for god sake put the name of the music in the info!

I had to search for "depressing piano music" for ages

    to find this thing.

Oh, and Rommel was pretty cool too.

  • Into the Dark - Sebastian Larsson

  • you know stalin had childreen thoo...

  • @AryanMede - Yep,the Americans always take claim for German inventions. I am getting tired of the Yanks taking German creations and making them there own. Like u had said, Germans are geniuses, there is no doubt about that.

  • @ssfraulein The B2 taken from the Flying WIng and a former SS pilot helped design the A-10 Thunderbolt (Warthog). And if it weren't for German scientists, the world wouldn't have had space travel or the atomic bomb.

  • @Longshot593 That does not surprize me at all. And yes,if not for Germans there would be no space travel. Just yirks me that J'ew America' has all Germman inventions.

  • @Longshot593 Former SS pilot??????

There were no SS in the Luftwaffe.

There were heaps of influences on the B-2, some were German. But it wasn't like they just reverse engineered the B-2 off the Horten 229

  • @SkullKing11841 Just look up a Stuka pilot by the name of Hans Rudel; he was the highest decorated German pilot as well as a dedicated Nazi until his dying day and he was-indeed- a member of the SS.

  • @Longshot593 No, he wasn't part of the SS, but he was part of the NSDAP, the Nazi party. The SS were separate to the Wehrmacht and didn't have there own air wing.

Post war he was a senior leader in the Neo-Nazi German Reich Party. He wasn't working with Fairchild Republic for the A-10, but he had input.

    :)

  • @SkullKing11841 You're right, I was mistaken. I was thinking about Michael Wittman when it came to the SS area, one of Germany's tank aces. While I despise Nazis, I am forced to tip my hat in respect to the accomplishments of both men

  • @Longshot593 Yes i do agree, i hate Nazism but can find my self inspired by the actions of some.

The most extreme would have to be Hitler. I found myself inspired by his bravery and professionalism as a soldier. But some one should have bayoneted him in the face in WW1.

I have respect for anyone who fights for anything, be it the guy next to him or for some fucked up ideology.

But don't get me wrong, They should have kept Auschwitz open after the war and put the Nazi's in there.

  • @ssfraulein USA has always had great respect for the german engineering genius and has not claimed that any german invention has in fact been theirs.

If you have concrete proof of otherwise then bring it along ,if not then ur nothing more but a dumb child going along with the ever so popular USA hatered, using even blatant lies if necessary.

In fact im pretty sure the reason you make such stupid claims is because you just demand attention and respect for german engineering.

  • they the kids that they poisoned in the bunker? Rommel was one of the very few redeeming elements of the nazi regime, a great man and a great general, pity he was fighting for the wrong side..

  • he was very smart, probably the best general in ww2

  • what I dont understand is how 70 years went by without another holocaust occuring

the jews have it coming soon

theyve been tempering with media because of their fear but they cant keep out the truth forever and its coming out now, all their filth is coming out

  • @esrapk Agreed. loads more of people are understanding how bad the Jews are. NS ALL THE WAY!

  • @Bearographer I think Unit 732 surpasses any act of inhumanity in the world, I'd rather live in a concentration camp my whole life as a jew than life through 1 day of a unit 731 basement.

  • what's the name of the song?

  • Rommel, Greatest general in German History, a true patriot, it is a shame that at the time he was forced to serve under a completely evil psychopath. Rest in peace

  • Rommel was a great man...u know how come ? i do not support nazis but he wasnt one....when hitler told him to kill POW's and jews he didnt do it...his prisoners were treated well and humane...then later on he was accused of conspiracy to kill hitler and then they wanted to kill him quietly...but then he made pact with hitler that ll make suicide for protection of his family....R.I.P. *salute* btw hes a legend of desert warfare....

  • Just finished reading a book about Rommel. What a true warrior and knight he was, and how sad he came to his end. Although serving the regime he was not a nazi. He desserved much better, he could have served Germany after the war.

  • long life to rommel

  • @hijodelaluna123 Haven't you heard? He died in october 1944, some 72 years ago :)...RIP, General FeldMarschal Erwin Rommel.

  • song name?

  • he looks like Ed harris

  • @antisumiala go die

  • nazi's killers of woman and children..hope they burn in hell..

  • @antisumiala

Rommel is regarded as having been a humane and professional officer. His Afrikakorps was never accused of war crimes. Of course he was a nazi but he was not an extremist.

  • Comment removed

  • @antisumiala

his own family ? where did you read that ?

  • @samsagace14 Rommel was never a member of the Nazionale Sozialistische Deutscher Arbeiter Partei. You said it. He was a proffessionnal soldier and a patriot. Not a criminaly insane lunatic.

  • Such a loving man and good father figure. Gave up his life without hesitation so his family can live.

  • rommel is that how a black man got in a german uniform

  • what's the name of the song?

  • @Foxfire0925 Let me sum up the comments I read below: "Goebbels is a great father", "Sieg Heil", "Heil Rommel", "The education system nower days is so infused with government left wing lies"

  • What is this fascist garbage?

  • Goebbels was a great father???!!!

You must be a NAZI to make a comment like that....

  • @ThePooch99

He cared very deeply for his family and was emotionally distraught when he was separated from his wife. He loved his family, nazi or not.

  • sieg ROMMEL, sieg heil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the scenes with the childrin in collabtoration with the music are for me like an horror movie, the children so cute and beautiful and the mother who will later ( a few years )kill them and herself , frightening

  • heil ROMMEL

  • I crying when I see Rommel with that children. I think he could be better father than Goebless...

  • @KurtvonStrohm Goebbels was great father ! Read his diaries and u find the real truth about his life !

  • @HistoryofReich Comparing Rommel to the Goebbels' is just wrong.

  • @HistoryofReich Yeah...he was a great father--right up to the time he murdered them!

  • @donwert Goebbels never wanted to Magda and children followed him into the bunker but to flee to Switzerland ! Read more about him !

  • @HistoryofReich I've read all his diaries...which confirm what an evil bastard he really was. As for wanting his children to flee to Switzerland (which I doubt), since they didn't go there, why murder them? A truly sick, twisted mind....then again, he, like Goering, Himmler and, of course, Hitler himself, was a psychopath.

  • @donwert I have a book which describes the last months of his life in the bunker and Hitler himself tried to convince her as he left Berlin to hide or to one of the yachts in their residence in Wansee. Goebbels Magda cried when I can not say I put the book title in the bunker with them ever played was in itself a closed Magda is one that is to blame!

  • @HistoryofReich Yeah, sure....it's all her fault! HA!

  • @donwert Goebbels didn't want his children to be gang raped by the Russians.

  • @EddieExile In the first place, the Russians didn't rape little kids--although there was an orgy of rape by them of teenage girls and women. Second, he could have sent them to Bavaria. All this ridiculous excuse-making!

Goebbels was a nihilist fanatic---if he couldn't live, he wanted to bring everybody down with him. About what you would expect from a psychopath like him.

  • @donwert

The Russians certainly did rape little kids as young as 8 and this could have included several of Goebell's daughters. That's reality not an excuse.

And you don't know what the viable options were at the time

  • @donwert how dare you say hitler was a psychopath you do realize a jew basically let his mom die and if that happened to your mom youd pray for revenge and he was a genius im not justifing the killing of millions but no one ever mentions about how fucking crazy stalin is

  • @zayne1998 The story about Hitler's mother and her Jewish doctor is a silly lie. Even if it were true, "taking revenge" against all Jews is the mark of a true psychopath. As for Stalin, of course he was a psychopath too---and that's been observed by almost everyone! Mao was a psycho. So was Pol Pot....Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot---all were sick, sick monsters.

  • @KurtvonStrohm any child deserve a life in National Socialism... in democracy you need 2 jobs to raise him..and you will see him only to say "good night"..

  • @KurtvonStrohm Certainly, he killed his children in their sleep for heaven sakes, and stood by Hitler through every brutal trial, Erwin was pure of heart and a great General.

  • Unfortunatly, Rommel was in the wrong side

  • lol Goebbels Jr. is a skater 1:09

  • @AryanMede The education system can lie. The education system nower days is so infused with government left wing lies, that when they teach us history who knows if its true or not.

  • @SeeN0More If you really believe that nazism was "right-winged" than here you are REALLY brainwashed.

  • @NeveranticStory Exactly what was nazism then? It has nationalism and facism, which in the correct classifcation is right winged.

  • @SeeN0More What is "right-winged" is a system, where government doesn't interfere with economy, doesn't interfere with private property, doesn't interfere with personal freedom.Nazism was none of it.It was a socialistic regime,it had more in common with commies than with anything considered "rightist".The last true rightist leaders were Reagan,Tchatcher,Pinochet. Leftists lie about nazism to make us believe there is any distinction between them. They always needed a clear enemy to stay in power.

  • @NeveranticStory Hitler and the Nazis were Rightists! Pinochet was a fascist dictator who greatly interfered in the personal lives of thousands of his countrymen.

    You are simply an idiot!

  • dong name please?

  • @rustystevens1 As the regime crumbled under the weight of defending itself on two fronts, control of the defense of the nation was wrestled between Hitler and those generals who were loyal to him, which included members of the SS and Gestapo, and Generals who simply wanted to avoid mass casualties in a tactically difficult position.

  • @rustystevens1 In simple terms the difference between ordinary soldiers and Nazi's was that Nazi's were party members, people who were often fanatically loyal to Hitler. Ordinary soldiers who belonged to the German army during the Second World War may have been loyal to their officers and the Fuhrer, but not all of them were members of the Nazi party. This led to some rather interesting situations towards the end of the war.

  • Hitler was a Tragedy not just for the Jews but for Germany and the many brave souls that lost their lives through his stupidity and madness.Britain and France also gave Hitler a lot of ready made propaganda by Bankrupting Germany and bringing her to her knees after the first world war.Hitler exploited those anti British and French feelings to the max. Hitler was just a ruthless opportunistic Madman.

  • If the allies didn't pick the same day to launch D-day on then rommel wouldn't be with his wife (it was his wife's birthday) and could have pushed the allies back into the sea

  • song name?

  • best military commander ever. patton is a lame piece of shit compared to him.

  • the desertfox in all his glory

  • @GermanBeautyIdeal Oh, I see. You're just another disgusting "neo-nazi" redneck who somehow got ahold of a computer and managed to create a Youtube account.

Go back to your trailer, you white trash. You're the inferior one here, because of your retarded ideals.

  • @GermanBeautyIdeal I don't see you offering any relevant information or sources.

  • @GermanBeautyIdeal What's your source?

Rommel was never in the nazi party. Not only he questioned Hitler and his methods to the point of participating in the 20 July plot (an attempt to assassinate him), he also supported the benevolent treatment of jewish people and war prisoners.

  • Colour footage? Was the world grey before?

  • супер, спс за видео..великий человек

  • See...

    iamthewitness. c o m

  • Magda Goebbels was the biggest bitch in germany

  • Talk about depressing.

  • the footage of the field marshall and the children was obviously propoganda, but touching all the same.

  • @hhbah- For a few years I used to visit Rommel's grave (with my school) in tribute with his son. I met Mayor Rommel on several ocassions.

  • Rommel's son Manfred was the mayor of Stuttgart for many years.

  • @slyrader1 FUCK YOU!!! Are you mentally retarded? think before you leave ignorant comments like that, ROT IN A SACK DIPSHIT!

  • @thunderbird810 you speek truth
