i saw alot of examples of people in the bible bowing, faces to the ground but no mention of where in the bible God said you Must bow when you pray. At the same time i dont see anything wrong with showing that kind of respect to your creator. Bowing was a tradition..something you did before a king or pharaoh. a sign of submission not a biblical law. if i want to bow my head at a red light or in line at the bank i will. he knows my heart and only he can judge me.

Umm actually the practices of the Quran are the same practices of the bible. The only difference is that one religion doesnt practice them anymore (they've become watered down) And you can ALSO worship the same God by having different practices. Some people find God through Meditation, some people find God through going to church or their mosques, some people find God in giving Charity. So I think you need re-analyze =)

Islam means peace through submission to the will of God. The bible never says the word christianity, nor does it say the word Judaism. But it does mention peace and obeidience to the will of God from Genesis all the wat to Revelation. So muslims believe that even if you are a christian, or a jew, if you submit your way to the will of God you are practicing Islam. The Quran says Christians and Jews will get their reward. That applies to the ones who are practicing islam BY submitting to God's law

I was trying to explain that 3:85 refers to Muslims as well as Christians, Jews and Sabians. A Christian who practices and applies every verse in the bible to his or her life is practicing Islam! the quran says that christians are the closest to us in faith, after that comes the Jews. On the Inside, it looks like we are very different because alot of christian practices that are Islamic practices today have died out or have been forgotten. This is one of the reasons why the quran warns us to preserve our book and religion so that Islam will not become commercialized or consealed.
