  • Wow, Indo-Irani cultures are exactly same. If it wasn't for video title I would have never been able to tell if it was Hindu prayer or a Zoroastrian prayer :)

  • this is so beautiful. Zoroastrian clergy, please allow people to convert to your beautiful faith or else you will die out which is so sad for such a beautiful faith. After all Iran was not Zoroastrian before Zarathustra and became Zoroastrian after hearing his message. Please do not let yourselves die out!

  • i love zarathushtra

  • this is so beautiful and peaceful. May Iran realise its ancient heritage

  • same as the worship in hindu cultures.

  • Fantastic!

  • I bow my head in alleigance and faith to alimighty Mazda and his prophet Zartosht

  • Thank you so much for uploading these sacred prayers. Please do upload some more for daily listening.

  • This is just wonderful i really truly need the blessings

One who realizes the wonderfulness in Mazda's Existence is truly blessed.

  • AvestA is Sanskrit and Sanskrit is Persian. - .Iran7000+

  • This is not a song, it's a prayer and I'd like to thank the uploader for this. I've searched for something like this for quite a long time. Please message me if anyone knows where I can get hold of the holy book The Avesta? I'd give anything to read that!

  • We (Indian Hindus) and the Zoroastrians are distant cousins. We belong to the Aryan race of the Vedic religion. We have many practices in common like the thread ceremony for children, fire is considered sacred and we put sandalwood and pure ghee while we worship.

The language you hear is Avestan, a sister of Sanskrit. Any Avestan word can be easily converted into Sanskrit with just a few phonetic rules. Hope this helps in strengthening the Indo-Iranian bond and reviving the Vedic spirit...

  • Wow!... i guess these are the sounds of rig veda. The origin of realization itself. watch?v=7hgkucBAqYE

  • very beautiful. i am a zoroastrian from iran, and this is by far one of the most beautiful zoroastrian songs ive heard. this relaxes my mind, and puts me in a state of bliss, and happiness, and truth. i praise good words, good thoughts, and good actions. ashem vohu

  • Ushta te.

  • ushta te

  • Yes, arp2283, Gathic language is sister Sanskrit language -- it is a dialect of Indo-Persian Sanskrit. To understand Gatha one has to know Sanskrit.

Even the religious philosophies are very similar as they all emerged from the same cultures of the Indo-Persian Vedic period.

  • This is so Similiar to Samskrit/Sanskrit Mantras..

And even Mantra is a Sanskrit Word..

    How Come any Ideas..!!

  • Most Gathic words are indeed Sanskrit words.

    Are you from India?

Actually, the culture and race of ancient India and ancient Persia is the same. Didn't you know that?
