Two of us would have our carbines, the other two would have a military combat shotgun for room clearing. They were very helpful, and you'd hear stories of them ripping peoples faces to shreds. They'd carry 00 buck shot for close range combat, breaching rounds for opening doors, and slugs for ranged combat.

Cool video. I'm really not trying to be one of those anti-bump fire weenies, but take a look at how close your finger appears to move towards the charging handle in some of the frames. Maybe the angle makes it seem worse than it is, but you really don't want your finger to slide into the path of the bolt on its way back, that would suck!
@jacobninja25 They are both great solutions for a cheap conversion, and if all you plan on doing is going to the range and playing around in the woods.
However if you were to use your s-12 in battle I would upgrade the stock (like i have see my other videos)
I dont think the tapco stock would take much serious abuse, however I dont think I would Use and M-4 as a battering ram, where as any of my ak's I would feel that their stock would be strong enough to beat on something with.

Just a suggestion: Try shouldering the weapon a little high on your shoulder, put your left foot further forward, pull the weapon back into your shoulder, lean slightly forward from the waist up, and let her rip. You'll dump your mag a bit slower but every round will remain on target providing you aren't a wuss and can actually hold the weapon...

The closest thing to the AA12 or frag rounds youll ever get is on a video game or maybe at Knob Creek. and why wouldn't the s12 shoot a frag? I have 5 gas settings on mine Im sure what ever the charge of the frag round is my s12 would accommodate it.
@rangetankownz The fire rate on the AA12 is slower than what is demonstrated in my video, and also way slower than a Full Auto Saiga 12 which again you cannot own. If there was a Semi auto version of the AA12 available to the public for under 2k I would probably pick one up, but the only advantage I see that the AA12 has over the s12 is lower recoil

@SIUDubFiend The benelli SBE is a great shotgun but it sure costs a bit more. for $550 you can get a hold of this saiga and enjoy the option of having a drum.

@rangetankownz First off you cant legally own an AA12 in the US without being a SOT, secondly you cant own frag rounds... The closest thing to the AA12 or frag rounds youll ever get is on a video game or maybe at Knob Creek. and why wouldn't the s12 shoot a frag? I have 5 gas settings on mine Im sure what ever the charge of the frag round is my s12 would accommodate it.

@rangetankownz The fire rate on the AA12 is slower than what is demonstrated in my video, and also way slower than a Full Auto Saiga 12 which again you cannot own. If there was a Semi auto version of the AA12 available to the public for under 2k I would probably pick one up, but the only advantage I see that the AA12 has over the s12 is lower recoil

As you also demonstrated the Saiga isn't extremely reliable like the AA12. In the first clip it looked like you had a jam.
You also had to hold the gun on your hip to handle the rate. The AA12, like you said, has less recoil.
The AA12 has a military advantage in my eyes also due to it being integrated with the Frag-12.
The S12 is a good gun though.

@GUNNY89 The only ones that would be pre-86 would be the ones that never saw mass-production, and probably aren't particularly reliable. On the other hand, you can get a registered AK sear and turn a Saiga-12 into an automatic shotgun for a comparatively reasonable price.

@AreThereNoMoreNames i work for a class 3 dealer in lubbock the aa12 never saw mass production but the streetsweeper did and no AK that was full auto was imported into the us they are all conversion that were grandfathered in 1986 grace period and the sear on an AK is not what you register you use the rifles serial number just like an m16

@GUNNY89 The Streetsweeper isn't related to the AA-12, and it's not a select-fire weapon.
There were a limited number of AK sears that were registered much like HK sears, but because it requires modification of the receiver instead of a trigger pack, they're more permanent, requiring that the receiver of the converted firearm be destroyed when it's moved, else the converted receiver is an unregistered machine gun.

No, you can't. There's no such thing as an "nfa license" to buy a fully automatic weapon. You're probably thinking of a class 3 license to SELL automatic weapons.
However, the weapon had to be registered, meaning MANUFACTURED, by 1986. Any fully automatic weapon built after 1986 CANNOT be owned through NFA channels and, therefore, by any individual - cop or military either. Only the government ORGANIZATION can own them.

@rangetankownz Your ignorance is showing. There is nothing special about the aa-12 that "permits" it to fire frag-12s. A saiga'd do it just fine. For a quarter of the price. A shotgun is a shotgun is a shotgun. Two magazine fed shotguns are going to perform roughly the same as the difference between shotties is in the ammo (Which is pretty freaking universal) not so much the gun.

I'm no medical expert, but I assume being able to pull the trigger faster with your middle finger (I don't even play paintball or shoot that often but I find it true for myself) could have something to do with tendon alignment of the middle finger?
Like I said, don't blast me for not knowing the reason for it and hypothesizing something, it's just an observation.
