  • and following Gore's concession speech: the US went into a fucking downward spiral.

Wow, what a nightmare, and it is still going..........

  • @fasfsdfasd Only if Obama has an election won against the will of the people, a 911, an Iraq, and a great depression all begin on his watch. He's got a LOOOOONG way to go before he is even mentioned in the same sentence as bush in terms of bad presidents. All this current talk about debts and deficits is largely due to bush with his spending orgy on iraq, no child left behind, medicare part D, dept of homeland security, and american dream home ownership act. Get a clue dude.

  • Fox news never admitted America was in debt the whole time Bush was president but right after Obama was sworn in they said America is going into a great depression. By the way Al Gore did win this election and George W Bush tried to get around that. If the supreme court didn't have moron republicans on the bench appointed by Reagan and Bush George W Bush would not have been president. Al Gore has a good chance to be president if he runs in 2016.

  • This fraud night led to many many dark years for America. President Obama has to fight every republican to get things done to try and fix all the damage bush and the republicans caused. Republicans will end up doing themselves in in a future election because of all the hate they encourage people to stand on the streets and demonstrate.

  • thank god gore wasn't president when 9/11 happened

  • @UDflyer04 why not

why do you people support bush

he is the reason our country is struggling right now

you guys kept on lying with your fox news saying nothing was wrong until obama was elected then you guys blamed him for everything

Many to most of the people who voted for bush only wanted the tax cuts he and his republicans friends praise which a factor deficit

bush was an awful president and if you look at the facts he could of stopped 9/11

so why would you rathe have bush

  • @UDflyer04 retard

  • can i ask what's this really about... sorry, I wasn't in U.S. during this time...

  • I just love how this asswhole acts as though he is being so gracious. HEY ASSWHOLE YOU LOST! All of his supporters where giving his kudos for taking the high road. He should have conceeded on election night. Instead he took the nation on a 36 day disgrace while he tried to steal an election.

  • The 36 days of disgrace were a hell of a lot better then the eight years of disgrace Bush brought upon this country.

  • You must be talking about Clinton. Yeah, I agree with you.

  • shut up you idiot! Bush stole the election!

  • It must be nice living in your little make believe world. I bet you have the power to fly too.

  • false .more americans votd for him than bush .bush brother conspired to exclude the black vote in forida .had his daddys buddys on the supreme court stop the recount etc.the election was STOLEN .but thanks to acorn and co that will never happen again.

  • That fucking tree-hugger lost. And all of your conspiracy theory bullshit won't change the simple fact that Democrats designed the butterfly ballot and your voters were too stupid to figure it out. He LOST! But hey now we have the HItler wanna be socalist-American hating skid mark in The White House. So be happy. Hope and change. Isn't it wonderful?

  • @ppaulst

A woman who was a registered democrat designed the ballot for one county. You say "democrats" like it was some sort of conspiracy that backfired. And unless you can define socialism, please don't throw it out there like some cliche. You sound like most other uneducated people who follow Glenn Beck and Fox News. Hitler wannabe? Obama has a master plan to wipe out a religious sect in America? Where is the connection? Do some research and think for yourself.

  • @jvswerbo I have an IQ over 160, I am well-educated,

and voted for President George W Bush -- 2-Term President

of The United States of America TWICE and would do it again

in a heartbeat. I love Glenn Beck! I do, however, respect

you, your opinion, and your right to free speech. Let us each

go to the polls and vote.. we have the ability to fire, or re-elect, any President of the United States if enough of us vote :-)

  • @ChristopherSaindon Just gonna say that IQ has long been frowned upon by experts on the subject to not be an accurate indicator of intelligence. Intelligence is far too complex to be measured.

Not doubting your intelligence, but I'm just saying that IQ really doesn't matter.

  • @CircusofPython You are absolutely right. And I

certainly have made MANY mistakes that would

make many -- including myself -- question the

value of IQ. Many on this page would question

whether I had ANY measurable IQ having

voted for Bush and I not only understand that..

I respect it. And I respect your very on-point and

well stated reply to my comments. Thank you

    my friend. :-)

  • @CircusofPython @ChristopherSaindon But I still loved President Bush :-)

Did he set the Queen's English back for a over a century?

Absolutely. But it's my right to say what I believe. BTW

    I love the Python stuff!!

    Right! Keep me covered..

    What with?

    (Pause) JUST KEEP ME COVERED!

    Thanks again :-)

  • lmao you can't even spell asshole. Check out the popular vote of election 2000. Guess who got more votes?

  • @averyj My poor spelling notwithstanding we don't elect our presidents via the popular vote. It's the Electoral College. But, I suspect that you already knew that. But, you go ahead and cling to that popular vote justification like a warm blanket if it makes you feel good at night. It will not change the fact that Bush won and Gore lost. But, he's getting his revenge with this global warming snake oil.

  • There are two people you libs can really thank: Nader and Clinton. Nader's small vote turnout cost Gore the election. And had it not be for Clinton's scumbag ass, more people would have voted for Gore.

  • You libs just can't accept the fact that Gore lost. He got less votes - deal with it. Stop living in a fantasy world. He didn't win his home state. He tried to steal an election by cherry-picking his recount.

  • Yeah, a lot of liberals were upset by Gore losing, and Bush was so bad he managed to make a lot of conservatives upset too.

  • Fuck you all who say its good that gore did not make presidency. He would have made a 100x better president than retarded bush. All democrats are 100x times better than the dumb republicans. AND TONIGHT WELL GET REVENGE TONIGHT WHEN BARACK OBAMA BEATS JOHN MCAIN

  • Careful what you wish for

  • I was one of 15,000 military absentee ballots in Florida that was NOT counted...DON'T TELL ME THAT GORE DID NOT TRY TO STEAL THIS ELECTION!!!

  • Gore's call for a recount was always legal. Why begrudge the man for seeking to pursue his legal rights?

I think Gore shows a lot of wisdom here. Yes, he fought for a recount, as was his legal right. But when the courts thwarted him, he stepped back, and took a broader perspective. He put his faith in the country in the long term.

Now, 8 years after thousands of black voters were turned away from the voting booth in Florida, we have the first viable black candidate in our history.

  • There was no corruption. He didn't even win his home state. If he would have won Tennessee he would be president right now. He tried to steal an election. He was never the winner. He was trying to find votes to cobble together a victory that he couldn't win via the normal election process.

  • He lost. And we are a better county for it.

  • Better? How? Record debt? Record deficit? Awful federal response to Katrina? A war based on lies that has cost us half a trillion and no Osama Bin Laden? Record gas prices? Depression?

Thank god America woke up and voted Obama. It was a landslide and a referendum on the incompetency and corruption of bush the last 8 years. It will be decades before we have his mess cleaned up.

  • @rawn4203 Dude you have it all wrong. Bush sent us from 5 trillion in debt to over 12T. There was no response to Katrina. The war did not cost us 1/2 trillion but more like 7T. He instated the patriot act and numerous others has has inflated the executive power to unprecedented levels and violated the constitution of the USA. He has supported the marriage act (unconstitutional). He has caused the deaths of thousands of Americans and allies abroad. He is an abomination. Let him rot in hell.

  • @SirAvalord we can only imagine how different the world would have been if gore would have been in office. if you are lost and driving--and see a fork in the road--which would you take. unfortunately--america took the fork that led to the desert. if we would have taken the other one--we would have come to beautiful mountains with a clear blue stream and a waterfall. sadly we will never know what might have been.

  • Yeah, because better means eight years of a crappy economy, extreme political corruption, and two mismanaged wars, none of which were fixed by the end of Bush's term and just dumped on the next guy.

  • First off we had seven years of a great economy. And that "mismanages war" kept us safe. Now we have socialist in the White House.

  • We must be living in parallel dimensions because the economy in mine was not great for seven years.

Safe? The war in Afghanistan failed to catch Bin Laden or even completely eradicate the Taliban or Al-Qaeda.

And the war in Iraq just turned a country that was no threat to us into a huge jihadist recruiting office, increasing the strnegth of Islamic Jihad ten fold, and giving a lot more people a reason to want to fly planes into our buildings.

  • I think it is pathetic that a candidate cannot win their home state. If you can't carry your home state, you should not be allowed to run.

  • Comment removed

  • agreed.

  • I made more money under the Bush Admin than any other. And I dont recall being attacked during his presidency after 9/11.

  • That's probably because you weren't in Iraq. I don't know what your definition of "attack" is, but I consider 4000+ US troops killed and 30,000+ wounded by bombs and shootings to be attacks.

  • They don't need to attack us here when we keep sending them plenty of easy targets over there.

  • HA! Can you imagine? Bush promised an end to partisan division, and when I look at it 8 years later, tears of laughter stream down my face...

  • Love ya Al!
