I don't know what you're smoking but Franken's last show was February 2007.Air America went bankrupt in late 2006. They stay on the air by paying stations to carry them and running up huge losses.

But it is instructive too that several of the founding fathers were "socialists" (they called it "fair"!). Jefferson spoke of "an earthly paradise paid for by the contributions of the rich alone". We prosecuted & executed Japanese for water boarding torture after WW2. We found two texas sherrifs guilty of waterboarding during Bush's governorship and sent them to jail. We train Navy Seals to endure waterboarding TORTURE. The LAW says that waterboarding is torture. The lawyers advising Bush apparently did not do the most basic legal searches on the matter & are now facing probable disbarment. There is no legal basis for saying that waterbaording is not torture. . .NONE.

But, I guess humor is a subjective thing, because when I listen to Coutler and Rush as opposed to Maher and Franken, Coulter and Rush seem to be their own punchline rather than them telling jokes of the political persuasion.
