Who would replace Ryan in the opening? Darryl? He was on the front cover of the Season 7 DVD instead of Ryan, so maybe he's a possibility.

i love ryan but i never get why they show him in the theme....hes not a huge character..i guess just because hes a writer for the show he gets to be in the opening?

@Trixiechk405 Well Mindy Kaling and Paul Lieberstein who play Kelly and Toby respectively are also writers on the show, so I don't think that's why. In the first couple of seasons his role was a bit bigger, so I think that's why they satyed with it - because I don't really get it either
