  • i only have one thing to say about that set up........sweet ass!

  • I'm pretty sure that my Dryžo (Dreejoe-means stripey) is Th. sauritus and I didn't buy it in a pet store. Pet stores in my country get even Pantherophis guttatus or Lampropeltis getulus rarely. And I really love watching it hunt, he is hyperactive XD But it's a little sad that I can't take Dryžo in my hands and watch him crawl around my fingers because he is scared of everything outside his home. But I have my Corn so I can play with him instead ;P

  • This is an thamnophis sauritus, no doubt about it!!

  • actually, that looks to be a thamnophis proximus, and subspecies-wise I would say t. proximus proximus, generally eastern ribbon snakes (thamnophis sauritus) are not really sold in pet stores while westerns (proximus) are, VERY often. That's a nice one, I have four, 1 pair of proximus proximus and 1 pair of proximus rubrilineatus (red stripes) who just had a bunch of babies!

  • Don't you just love seeing it hunt?

    Beautiful snake.

  • thanks hjelte I couldn't find my snkes real name actually. I was told it was Th. sirtalis when I bought it . Thanks again :)

  • Great video!!! Thank you for sharing!

  • I hate to tell you, but that´s no T.Sirtalis. It´s a T.Sauritus, an "eastern ribbonsnake"=)

If you google Thamnophis Sauritus, you´ll see a picture of your snakes species. Best wishes

  • I don't know I caught it in the river ... :)

  • what kind of fish are those....
