hey people...IT IS THRASH..It is SUPPOSED to be simplistic! Old school thrash was the street answer to all the over produced, and over complicated CRAP. I been playing for years and I discovered that no one cared about complicated shit i used to play, the kids wanted BARR CHORDS and SWEAR WORDS! Anything else was considered fake POSER SHIT ...This guys actually captures the old spirit pretty accurately, BUT his voals need work!

That's bullshit. Thrash had nothing to do with being against complicated music, nor being 'overproduced'. It certainly wasn't about being overproduced, but it was surely about giving an answer to hair metal, thrash was born for destroying hair metal.

Good thrash isn't this simple, not simple to the point that it just gets tedious, boring and predictable to infinity.

I can't believe the shit this band gets for being too "simplistic," "generic". These guys capture the ATTITUDE of metal; the music makes me wanna get up and kick stuff. The GOOD thing about TH is that they ARE simplistic and capture that attitude, and not another one of these BORING over saturated technical death metal or deathcore bands which have NO EMOTION attached to the music other than to be br00tal or overly complicated.

The best way to start playing thrash, or any type of music, is to learn to play songs of the genre and take influence. But it would help you to bring some jazz into your playing too man, it would add some taste and originality to a generally dull genre(Thrash Metal...)

Evil Never Dies is the best album. This is what I call Raw Thrash. Like Razor, early Kreat, etc...Warbringer is good, but that is what I call produced thrash..
