Actually a pretty damn good cover. Sounds like you got caught up with your thoughts in a couple of places. But combining an instrument with vocals can be a very difficult to master. I applaud you for giving this song the attempt that you gave it. You did not try to mimic Brents voice which is where so many go wrong in cover tunes. You were yourself from what I can tell and hear. That speaks volumes...
