  • I am a self taught quilter.. and have apparently been doing everything the hard way for 20 years! Thank you so much for this lovely video. The next 20 years should be so much more enjoyable!

  • @JanesGrl Thanks for making me smile! Cheers for easier quilting methods! :)

  • Thank you lovely lady for exsplaining so clearly

  • thank you so much for posting this video.

  • I think you do wonderful things thanks - I love the needle pillow super cute I want one too :)

  • Hi Jenny, From Down Under, the Quilt that you have hanging on the wall behind you, the Blue Green with Scallop edges. Is it a Moda Fabric is it and which design. Thanks Margie

  • @margiebrom Hi Margie, This was made using the same method as the video only I used random Moda fabric. The lines are all older but I used alot of Day Dreams by Deb Strain.

  • I have never been good using pins, I find it easier to not cut the connecting threads, it works perfect for me.

with that said, I really like watching Jenny's videos, most quilting/sewing videos people just talk and talk before even starting to cut or sew, Jenny just like Eleanor Burns just gets right to the point of the lesson.

I really Jenny is very helpful.

  • I never understand why only one measurement is given... okay, 2.5 inches... but 2.5 inches by what? I don't get it. Is there a basic measurement that everyone uses?

  • @kiasuten Hi, 2.5 is a standard measurement in the precut world. In this video we are making squares so the measurement is a square--2.5 X2.5. i hope this helps!

  • @jennydoan57 Thanks for responding. Okay, so it doesn't matter what size the strip was to begin with? It would ideally be evenly cut into 2.5x2.5 squares? I thought the strips she was starting with were of a universally-agreed upon size or something.

  • Right on this makes my figuring out how to do this a heck of a lot easier! wish me luck and thank-you:)

  • So easy to understand. THANK YOU!

  • Thank you sooo much! I come from a place where quilting is everywhere but explanations can be overwhelming. You made it so easy to even remember. So looking forward to starting! Thank you

  • thank you! very helpful! ...and I like the music :)

  • Thank you, do you have the series on dvd so we can play them on our dvd player at home?

  • Thank you. I love how so simple you explain it.
