I got a personal tour with Bill Richardson himself - and I got to visit his private library - he was the kindest man I've ever met and was quite interested to know that an eight year old kid wanted to become involved in the trucking industry (and I still want to).
The museum is fantastic, world quality exhibit! there has been extensive extension since this video, many more trucks added (over209 last time I was there ) Bill has died. Museum still operated by family trust.
Cool. Don't often see trucks, usually more cars that people collect/restore. Grandfather owned a Fargo from the 40's, he left it in the woolshed when he sold his farm, which was outside of Invercargill. Sometimes wonder what happened to the truck, would be nice to think it wound up here.
It's attached to the Richardson Construction main office in Hawthorndale but it's viewing is by request only and mostly to groups. these guys where the Southland Morris Minor Club.

The "Travel Channel" would do well to send me here with Anthony Bourdain and his No Reservations show.
