Just a few tips.... You can press the home and power button at the same time for screen lock, hold them down for about 3 secs and the phone options will come up, you can power off like normal from there. And about the wifi.... It works, but will only connect to unsecured networks. I have a WEP network, but I am not sure if it willl connect to WPA networks. I just share an unsecured wifi connection from my Mac that is unsecured so I can go on the internet and get apps and stuff.

@BennyDaStylA Both OS are good, i'm not bashing any of them. I haven't had the chance to play with android as much as I would like to though. The reason why hardware of phones running Android is better is because they can release new phones mostly anytime, it doesn't have to be the same company always, on the other side, the iOs can only be ran on an iPhone, which are released by Apple, so that limits the new hardware for some time. Also, the GPU on iPhone/Android combo is not yet available so..

Probably the update will never come. If it does, it will be a byproduct of some of the other efforts for open source GPU drivers. This is a interesting hack, but if you actually want a functional android device it's best to by something that has an open source GPU driver.

Actually, that'd make the Android OS look like a bunch of bloat. Also, it's because the drivers and software isn't supposed to be on there and isn't as polished as it could be. If Android can run fine on a Droid Eris, it surely could run on an iPhone.

What don't you understand? Drivers make the hardware work. Spec wise, which is what you're talking about, the hardware is fine. There's worse hardware running Android just fine. The DRIVERS which are not COMPLETE and are very UNRELIABLE are helping ANDROID interact with the iPHONE. Therefor, it's not working very well. Spew your iPhone hate somewhere else. Mutterjunge, you should probably realize that the iPhone in this video is the first iPhone that came about, way back in early 2007; That is old phone hardware. On top of that, the drivers are probably unoptimized, thus accounting for the poor performance.
