Or if you want to export one single frame from any point in the timeline, place the current time indicator on the frame you want to export and go to File > Export > Frame
I assume you meant Premiere and not After Effects. I am currently enrolled in an After Effects class at the college and am learning the program. I plan on getting another one of these Premiere tutorials out today.

File > Import...
Premiere will usually take TIFF and JPEG files without much trouble.
