I can't believe anyone is still using the PoGo, or any other stylus for that matter, after STYLUS-R-Us surfaced. Absolutely every other stylus made, such as the PoGo, Griffin, Dagi, Alu, Boxwaves, and all the others, require pressure. All of Stylus-R-Us over 40 styli, don't require any pressure whatsoever. They're awesome to the bone. Just Google Stylus-R-Us to get to their site.
i made my own capacitive stylus, it is fully responsive and simple to use.
Get an aluminum pen and cover the tip you are going to use with more aluminum foil (to cover up any thing like holes) and cover that part up with a thin layer of plasic (you can simply cut a piece of a grovery bag) then you grab the plastic and move it back as much as you can, make sure the aluminum foil is very tight and finally, tape it down and make sure it's fastened. it really works. (plastic avoids scratches)
I feel sorry for all of you caught up in the buying and trying (stylus) game all of these alleged stylus companies have you stuck doing. There’s only one stylus for touch screens and that’s STYLUS-R-US. They have 35 different styluses, all with the same tip that requires literally zero downward pressure. Stop blowing your money on crap and check out beststylusDOTcom. Now that’s something to tell others about.
Im an artist myself and Im still saying to myself, GEE, HOW DOES HE DO THAT!! LOL! I agree about the Tip I have an issue with that as well. I dont Reallly like it but I guess I have to get used to the tools thats all.....
One question.....in minute 1:53, I kind of see that the Ipad responds faster as the thickness of the line becomes thinner....am I right or was it just my impression?
I had one of these for my iphone but it was difficult to use so I sent it back...the squishy nub was part of my problem. Since there seem to be a ton of "how to make your own" videos on here I thought I'd save the $15. Ah I dunno.
does it really make a difference getting a branded capicitive pen (pogo) compared to cheaper ones? besides the hardware quality is the precision going to be the same?
How detailed can you write with that thing? Can you write in a normal college ruled sized font? Or does it have to be year 2 jumbo writing? Becasue I would love to have this to take notes in lectures at uni
Thanks for the review! I've been considering the Pogo stylus, but I've been very concerned about the soft tip as well. In the weeks that you've been using it, have you seen any depreciation of the tip/accuracy?
Maybe the Ozaki iFinger might work with your iPad. It's originally for the iPhone, so I don't really see a difference in surface. Maybe it's not squisy like the POGO but worth a try!
Could you please consider at some point comparing it to the thicker but firmer Dagi stylus with a transparent tip? I would like to see how the 2 compare with your drawing style. Further, how do these perform on a 3G iPhone? I'm in Randy Deluxe country (different province though), so the iPad is not available here yet, nor do I have the funds for it just now but am still looking for a sketching implement.
ooooooo pen:D
